A graphic and video editing "school" by me?
"YOU SUPPORT BULLYING?"
Now first of all, if you're not familiar with the logo above nor Bullworth Academy,
the answer is no, I do not support bullying. lol.
Bully is my most favorite video game of all time, like, like seriously.
Played this since I was 11 (watch out we got a badass over here lol) on PS2
and are still playing till now, but on PC instead. (DA BULLY PS2 CD BROKE UMPH)
"SO, ABOUT THE 'SCHOOL'. YOU WERE SAYING?"
Geez, okay, okay. Can't you just let me spazz over that awesome video game a little?
Okay, so nowadays, I've found lots of tutorial threads or 'schools' in AsianFanfics, mainly for graphics and coding.
Should I express how I loved the fact that such threads exist? Gosh they're useful and help to remind me on the basics and stuffs!
But what I didn't like is the fact that there were too many tutorial threads left unupdated since forever,
INCLUDING MINE. (the HTMYVOAFFGSK thingy? haven't update them since March lol)
Thus, I was thinking on creating a graphic and video editing "school", inspired by Bully.
I'll try to keep it more as a 'video game experience' to the participants, which is much like The Grailers' Hospital, only with more interactive options.
"TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS."
I'll basically be using a system which will separate students into "Cliques" (which, is also inspired by Bully). All new participants (a.k.a. students) who have signed up will be first placed in the 'Non-clique Students' which is when the basic lessons begin. Then you'll be give an option to join a clique of your choice. There'll be five main cliques, including the 'Nerds', the 'Bullies', the 'Preppies', the 'Greasers' and the 'Jocks'. Each clique majors in different types of skills and have their own reputation rank/position.
I'm trying to achieve something that's more of to 'community'-ish rather than a simple (and full of lame jokes) tutorial thread.
In other words, talented designers (who wouldn't need tutorials and tips that much) could join too, interacting with the whole community (I'LL BE THE PRINCIPLE, OK. YOU STUDENTS BETTER BE GOOD. lol), gain reps, strive for the highest rank in exams etc.
I won't publish this officially for now though (on Halloween, perhaps?). Heck, I'm not even sure if I truly want to do this.
I'll focus on The Grailers' Hospital, A Psycho's Diary and HTMYVOAFFGSK first, then I'll decide on this.
If I'm opening this for sure, would you participate or by at least support?
Would be quite disappointing if there's not enough participants though. Just saying.
