저를 깊은~

Plotline: The Cool Barista

Backup Plotline: The Tomboy Cook

Personality: Kim Jiwon, is the laidback, easy going girl she's well known for, thinking it unhealthy to worry and stress so much. She keeps a calm demeanor, and is never really easily fazed by crazy things. Her half smile is kept on her face all day long, and she's capable of handling things on her own because she doesn't want to be some needy kitten. The thing most people probably admire about her is how equally she can treat everyone, from someone her age to a jumpy seven year old. She isn't affected by the fact that they might not understand her words, or by the fact that they are interested in other things. Conversations with her are all the same no matter who you are; calm, and understanding, giving nothing away but not boring either. Jiwon is someone able to keep up with the blabbers little kids have, the drama of a teenager, and the good ol' days with the old timers. And people find it easy to just jump out of nowhere and start talking to her, because she'll listen and listen, and give what she has to say; as simple as that.

But her cool outer appearance is a bit different to the one she shows towards her friends and co-workers. The trait laidback, for her, is taken to a while different level, in which we call lazyShe's not fond of working a lot, and is often putting her to-do list to the side to do what she wants to do. Jiwon will often sleep in her own clothes if she's too lazy to pull her skinny jeans and sweatshirts off, but then again she thinks of herself and will change in the morning. Another trait of hers is selfishness. Her selfish side is very small compared to others, but it's noticeable if you spend enough time with her. She hates sharing her food with others, and will only give you food if she's buying you a seperate one. When people want to take a bite of her food she'll often say "get your own", but because she isn't a princess, she'll give you a bit.

It seems she has many bad points to her, but there are the natural charms she has that evens it out. She has a natural sense of humor which is seen quite often; she'll make fun of herself, and gently tease others, and even unconciously does body gags. Jiwon likes seeing people laugh, it lets her know that she is liked, and not annoying. Along with her humor, she makes friends quite easily. Although she is a bit shy when first meeting someone, she'll make friends with loud people who eventually bring out the real Kim Jiwon. Vice versa too. When she feels someone is uncomfortable she will keep talking and ask questions so they can get used to her presence. Jiwon's selfishness does not apply to all people. Her sharing-is-caring side of her comes out when being with a new friend, or someone of high respect[high respect in her eyes, so people who are older and are best friends with her, they get the treatment from above.] She thinks if she wants that person to be comfortable with me, I should be comfortable with them.

Such kind acts are often shown with someone she really likes, and will go through the extent of doing whatever they need, say for example they need ten dollars; if her food is high on the not sharing list, then money may be at the very top. Jiwon also likes to think of herself as tomboyish, even though she knows she has a girly side to her.

One last final note, she has a very serious side. She likes to play and all, but when dealing with serious matters she becomes the mature one out of everyone. She hates it when people are nonchalant about it, and sometimes scolds them for being childish at times like those. In a serious situation, she likes to take charge and be the one everyone can count on especially when it comes to bullying. Jiwon can't help but speak up, and even take action, when an innocent soul is being harmed; it's just not right. When this happens she becomes scary and will often have a pissed off face while telling the bully off. The odd thing is, Jiwon has very little self-confidence when she does things like these, and it scares her that she might get hurt. But when she thinks that when it's over everybody will call her a hero she seems to be fueled by that to do more. All in all, she's a typical type B.

내 역사~

Background: Jiwon was born and raised in a comfy home in her birth town of Sapporo, Japan, surrounded by good friends, good education, and a lovely neighborhood. Living in a decent two story home with matching furniture, and a good family to share it with, you could say she had a good life, waking up in her own room, going to school, sharing moments with her sibling. But like all cliche stories, it doesn't always end just like that, because this is one of them. Her father was extremely strict with his children, and because Jiwon was a girl, he was even more so with her. Things like going to birthday parties, or going to the library alone, she couldn't experience any of that unless she wanted to go through a lecture on how to stay safe, only to come home twenty minutes later. Her friends were true, but limited. Her education was well taught, but too much for a young girl. Her neighborhood was a festive one, but she was unable to attend the joyous events.

Her mother was worried enough to talk about her husband's strict rulings, but because she was timid and weak, she could be convinced or scared out of her wits to just drop the subject. When Jiwon saw this happening to her mother, although her father and mother loved each other deeply, she couldn't help but be furious. Furious at the fact that her father was so strict. Furious at the fact that her mother was so delicate. Furious at herself for being only nine. She became influenced by this, and as she grew up she became someone who would stand up for other poeple when they couldn't. Jiwon grew up to be the neighborhood older sister that took care of everybody while still under her father's strict rules.

At the age of twelve going on thriteen she made a deal to her father. She promised that if she could live in South Korea living a carefree lifestyle and be successful, her father would have to stop being so strict with her and her brother. If she failed to do so, she would return home to Japan and become a business woman under a family friend's company. They made the deal official, but her mother proposed something. Her mother has never been to Korea before and would like to write a story based in Korea, and to make sure she kept a watchful, not strict, eye on Jiwon. After many arguments beteween her parents, they decided to do this. Jiwon, her brother, and her mother would move to Korea while her father stayed in Japan so there was no strict rulings. And that's what they did.

The three of them moved to South Korea, and with little language difficulties, as the father taught them his native language, they had the life they had as they did in Japan. Except they stayed in a house which was previously owned by their father's close friend; the house was paid off already, so it was fine. And the strict rules were gone. Jiwon grew up happy and carefree, accomplishing many things despite her personality. So far, the deal with her father is leaning her way.

Family: Father | Kim YongIn | 46 | Doctor | Overprotective, Strict, Loving, Precise

Mother | Kaoru Nakamura | 45 | Author | Kind, Malleable, Defenseless, Friendly

Brother | Kim Heechul | 19 | College Student Majoring in Marine Biology | Motherly, Affectionate, Blunt, Diva

Best Friends: Lee Soonkyu | 20 | College Student Majoring in Economics | Playful, Sisterly, Childish | Sunny, as she likes to call her, was a kind senior in school who was in the same clubs as her. They grew close after being paired up with many projects together. They tease each other, show the side of them they would never show out in public, and confide in each other when needed. Even though Sunny is older, JiWon is respectively more mature while Sunny bounces around the mall, b with aegyo.

Kim Jongwoon | 19 | College Student Majoring in Song Writing | Quiet, Awkward, Funny, Unpredictable | Yesung, a nickname JiWon gave after hearing him sing once, is a friend of her brother, and they met each other when Heechul brought him over to study once. Yesung was introduced to JiWon and she was immeadiately fond of his randomness and humor, resulting in her being closer to Yesung than Heechul was. Even now, they text each other or meet at the cafe to throw a gag or two. They are the kinds of friends that don't hang out for ages, but when they meet they automatically click. JiWon considers Yesung more of her brother than Heechul, whom she is quite close to.

Kim Jonghyun | 17 | High School Student/Part-time Waiter | Fun, Joking, Romantic, Cocky | They are classmates in all their classes and share an odd relationship. In the beginning Jonghyun confessed to JiWon right off the bat, but he wasn't expecting her to say, "Well, I'm sorry but I don't." He chased after her for awhile and eventually gave up, but he continues to make ual gestures towards her as a joke. She finds him annoying in a good way.

Friends: Im Yoona | 17 | High School Student/Part-time Cashier Register at Convinence Store | Angelic, Kind, Immature, Friendly | Also classmates, Yoona is among her long list of friends who once admired her, but now see her as an equal. Yoona was fond of her mature personality, and wanted to be like JiWon, so they started hanging out together. In reality, it just made Yoona even more immature now that she found a friend who accpets her childish ways. Today, they often eat lunch with each other and go shopping, but they both have their own personal group of friends.

Rival: Han Raemi | 16 | High School Student | Warm-hearted, Blunt, Bossy, Stalker | Once word got out that Jonghyun was after Jiwon she became very, very jealous of all the attention she got from Jjong. She often confronted her about it and showed how much she didn't like her by pulling pranks and such. She doesn't know Jonghyun gave up on her, and because he is very affectionate towards her, Raemi thinks he still likes her. She openly stalks Jiwon and Jonghyun, and is constantly nagging Jiwon about it whenever they meet. She's not a bad person, just once she dislikes something she just has to make a fuss about it.
