Personality: “Meet Mini MinHee” You’re going to have to take one long look at MinHee to actually notice that she’s not a child. MinHee is on the short side and has a face that is mistaken as a young middle schooler. Though it’s not her looks that makes people think she’s a child, it’s her personality. This girl… is made with nothing but aegyo. MinHee acts childish no matter when or where. Exactly like a child. Though, the aegyo isn’t all that real.  “Jong Mei-Hua” The “behind-the-scenes” MinHee. Mei-Hua is more serious than MinHee, but still retains a childish side. Mei-Hua only comes out when the camera is not stuffed down her face or when she’s alone. It’s not that she forces that aegyo out, but a girl has to take a break from it!

- Education/Languages: MinHee, born in raised in Hong Kong, spent most of her elementary years there, where she learned Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. Because of her Korean parentage, she was able to learn some Korean. It wasn’t until she moved to South Korea in the beginning of middle school when she began to speak Korean fluently.
- Talent: Music wise. MinHee is not incredible in singing, dancing, or rapping. Though, with enough training MinHee just might make it as an idol.
- Hats: MinHee has quite the collection of hats. Reason being…. hats add an illusion that MinHee is taller

Though, MinHee is daddy’s little girl and she gets spoiled endlessly from her father. They love each other dearly.
Mother | Jong Mingyu | 49 | Ex-model now fashion designer | A modernized woman who is a complete sweetie | MinHee and her mother are alike in every way. They both love to act cute and shop together. Their relationship is more like two best friends.
Cousin on Mother’s side | Henry Lau | 23 | Member of Super Junior-M | A dorky but charismatic fellow who seems to get along with others | MinHee did not meet Henry until she moved to South Korea. But the moment they met, they clicked. They both love to act adorable and often show a lot of skinship.
Family Background: MinHee’s parents met when her father, a politician representing South Korea, came to Hong Kong in order set up trade agreements between the two countries. There in Hong Kong, MinHee’s father spotted the love of his life. It was a rainy day in Hong Kong and after a long day of work MinHee’s father just happened to forget an umbrella. It was then when MinHee’s mother came up to the father and asked if he would like to share the umbrella. Things happened, and MinHee’s parents were soon married. MinHee wasn’t born until several years later, and to say her birth was easy is an understatement. MinHee was born 3 months pre-mature and she was lucky to have survived. MinHee growth was difficult. She was smaller and weaker than most kids her age. Though, MinHee wanted to make her parents proud. So she took up archery at the tender age 7 years old. MinHee would advance so well in archery, she competed and won a gold medal in the Olympics for China at 10 years old. MinHee and her family stayed in Hong Kong for 12 years until it was time for MinHee’s father to return back to South Korea. So the whole family moved. MinHee struggled at first to adjust to Korea, but people fell in love with her. Her adorable personality and face appealed to her classmates, many of them calling her the Aegyo princess. MinHee had no idea what “aegyo” was, so she reached it and found KPOP. MinHee fell hard for KPOP. She would practice her aegyo just so she could act like some Korean girl idols.

How were you discovered: MinHee and her friend were walking home after a tough day of school. Since her father was a politician, MinHee happened to live in Gangnam. So while MinHee and her friend started to play around to blow off steam from school, MinHee started to sing an old song by legendary group H.O.T. Her friend couldn’t help but laugh at MinHee’s adorable aegyo while she sang. People even in the streets took a second glance at 14-year-old MinHee while she “performed.” It just so happen one of the people who noticed her in the street was no other than a male SM scouter. The man came up to MinHee and decided to take a chance. The scouter gave MinHee a business card and said, “You got some potential. Call if your interested.” MinHee knew exactly what the card was for. So she quickly ran home and showed her mother the card. MinHee’s mother was all for MinHee becoming a trainee, but it was her father that was reluctant. MinHee’s father was worried that MinHee could get hurt or even worse not debut at all. But after some convincing from the mother, MinHee became a trainee for SM Entertainment.

Trainee Life: During the first few years of being trainee MinHee struggled to balance training and her social life. Because MinHee lacked in any sort of musical talent, she would have to work hard and spend most of her time improving her skills. Though, many of the trainees liked MinHee for her adorable personality. Since MinHee is one of the older trainees she is seen as the young unnie/noona to most of the younger trainees. MinHee would continue to work hard, with a smile on her face, to finally make her idol debut.

Personality: Chen is somewhat of a troll. He tends to make snarky comments towards anything or anybody. His sarcastic attitude is funny on-screen but off-screen it can get under your skin. Though, this is just Chen’s way of being friendly. He likes to put up a strong front, afraid of what happens when people get close to him. Has a soft spot for cute things.  
How You Met: Chen and MinHee go way back to the first day MinHee became a trainee. When MinHee entered the SM building she bumped head on into Chen… while pouring hot coffee all over his… lower regions. Feeling horrible for spilling the coffee, MinHee became flustered and started to apologize. Instead of accepting the apology, Chen grew mad at MinHee’s aegyo and stated, “Stop acting like a baby and get me a towel!” MinHee looked startled at Chen and pushed him back. “Who’s the baby? You’re the one who peed his pants?!” She pointed out the wet spot. Chen would of argued back… but he suddenly laughed while trying to say, “Welcome to SM Tiny!” MinHee then gained the nickname Tiny, while Chen walked away laughing.  
Interaction: They’ve known each other for the longest time, so you would think they’re the best of friends… wrong. More like friends who tease each other to no end… actually more like Chen teasing MinHee while she thinks of horrible comebacks. But in all seriousness Chen and MinHee are incredibly close and share a lot of great memories during their trainee days. When Chen debuted in EXO-M their relationship seemed to become distant, though they try to remain close.
Relationship: Behind all the teasing and silly arguments, Chen has liked MinHee from the moment he set eyes on her. However, since he knew that dating in the idol world is difficult Chen is simply happy just being around MinHee. On MinHee though, she slowly started to develop feelings for Chen during their friendship. When Chen finally debuted, the distance between him and MinHee started to take toll. They both started to miss each other every passing day and it was hard to talk to each other. MinHee’s debut was the key to get both of them together. Since they both would see each other on music shows and performances they started to reform their friendship… but it was different this time. The teasing turned into flirting and MinHee caved in. She confessed to Chen that their friendship was so much more. While MinHee blabbed on, Chen kissed her. After that, they began to secretly date till the time was right to tell the world.
