How you got your powers

 

SItting in her bedroom, doing her homework in the late afternoon. She had a bad day at school, so her mood was off.  And when she's in a bad mood, she'd like her surroundings to be quite than loud.

HyunMi irritatingly dropped her pencil on her text book and stood up from her bedroom floor. HyunMi followed the noises that came from the living room. It sounded like a fight.

HyunMi lived alone with her mother after her father left them with another women, when she was 5. It was hard for them to live in the begining, but few years after they lived well.

Bitting her lip, HyunMi leaned over to the closed living room door to hear the conversation. She jumped a little when an unfimiliar voice of a man boomed. " I Promise I'll pay you back your money!" her mother pleaded. HyunMi frowned 'did mom borrow money?'. 

HyunMi gasped as she heard something crash in the livng room and the man shouted. Hearing her mom cry, HyunMi burst into the living room, only to see her mom on the floor injured and 4 large men in black suit stood in front of her. "Mom!!" HyunMi cried and ran over to her mother.  

The argument and fights went on and hyunMi was thrown at the wall like a rag doll, when she tried to punch a man. One of them pulled out a gun and aimed it at HyunMi . Just when he was about to shoot her, HyunMi's mother ran in front and took the shot into her chest. Everything was silent for a while. Anger shot into every vein of her body, as HyunMi rose up from the blood cover ground. Something else took over her body and in a split second the house was on fire. Burning every thing down into ashes. Nothing was left of the house except HyunMi herself, unharmed. Later when she moved with her godmother, HyunMi discovered that she inherited her powers from grandfather and learned more about her powers. It didn't take her much time to accept it. But her mother's death was a great impact in her life.
