Omfg in 36 hours the southern part of the province and the city that I live in calls a flood emergency

at first I was like: oh, we'll, it shouldn't be too major right?

i was wrong 

That Is the highway outside of the city and the downtown part of my city is even worse because it's right next to a river. I'm glad that I don't live near the river, but I have a lot of friends that do, an I'm really worried about them.
