Personality: 

            Meilin is a very hardworking person. There are times that she becomes reserved, quiet, and observes people but she can be talkative depending on her mood. She is wise and can be asked for advice when needed. She is also fearless who doesn't fear to tell the ugly sides of a person or a thing. She also hates being beaten in any way so if she thinks she is right or doing the right thing, she would defend it to her last breath. She tries to be tough on the outside but she is actually really sensitive and can be easily affected by negative comments. Her biggest fear is to fail her loved ones especially her family. Background: 

            Her Filipina-Chinese mother was the CEO of a Hotel Chain who was bound to marry a rich Filipino-Chinese businessman whom her mother despises so much. On an Investor's Meeting, that was when her mother met her father who was a rich Korean businessman. There was an immediate attraction between them that led to a night of them together (oh you know what i mean ;)). But on the morning, her father left without a word and her mother, upon knowing that she was pregnant, came after him to Seoul without her family knowing. But there she found out that he had a family already so being heartbroken, she came back to the Philippines and to make matter's worse, her family found out that she was pregnant so they disowned her and threw her out of the house and out of their lives. One of the oldest maids in the house, took pity on her and took her mother in their house which was a very small one and found on the slums. There, Meilin was born. 

         Meilin grew up to be a simple child who learned about the harshness of life and nothing could get you out of it except hardwork. Her mother tried her best to raise her even doing odd jobs and making night, her day. Decided to finish only high school, Meilin helped her mother on her odd jobs believing that earning would be more important as of now and will finish her studies when they are able to save. But then, her mother became sick and cannot work anymore so she had to work ten times harder for her mother's medicine. In the end, her mother died but was able to reveal to her about her true backgorund and the identity of her father whom she grew a feeling of hatred to because of leaving her mother. With the little earnings that she has, she went to Korea to find her father and make him pay.
