Personality: People say that her name sums her personality up perfectly. If she were fullAmerican, she'd have shimmery blonde hair and light blue eyes. She is a very sweet, soft-spoken girl who is very shy around people. She likes to do things like singing and piano and drawing, because they are things she can do alone without bothering other people, and she is very good at such things. She hates being called stupid or inadequate because her mother has always called her these things. She loves kids and babies, and she always wanted to go on the show Hello Baby. But she also has a bad side. When Juliette does something wrong, she gets very upset. She has low self-esteem and lots of issues with trying too hard to be perfect. She thinks because her mother is so strict, she will never be good enough for her, so she thinks she's not good enough for anyone else either. She had a fairly normal childhood, although she was sometimes bullied by people for her background and because of her ethnicity. Americans shunned her for being half-Asian, and Asians shunned her for being half-American, so she didn;t have many friends, which explains her shyness. After her sisters Jessica and Krystal auditioned for SM and made it, she decided to audition right after Jessica's debut in Girls' Generation. Of course, she chose SM, since both of her sisters had before her.

Likes: dark chocolate, shorts (she wears shorts all the time), tea, the color orange, fruit/healthy foods, when someone plays with her hair

Dislikes: her legs being “restricted”, being hot, cleaning up, having ice in her drinks (because she has sensitive teeth), clowns

How Do You Get Into SM?: She auditioned in 2007

Trainee Life: Life as a trainee was pretty hard for Juliette. She had a very hard time learning to wake up as early as five each morning and immediately getting to work, but now she can wake up at four and be fully awake by 4:30. It took her quite a long time to get used to following the strict schedule that is forced on trainees. Juliette also had a difficult time making friends. She was very quiet and a lot of the other trainees assumed she didn’t talk to them because she was stuck up and full of herself, not realizing she was shy and afraid they wouldn’t like her. She appeared in SHINee’s video for “Juliette”, wearing a mask most of the time (because she was so quiet, they thought she would be great for such a character, and because her name matched).

Personality : Jonghyun is the guy you read about in anime/manga, the one who thinks he's incredible. Which, of course, he is, but he doesn't need to be such a jerk (lol in a cute way) about it. His laughter is infectious and his smile is playful and light. However, when he smirks, everyone around him feels a cold aura surrounding him. When Jonghyun cries, he always pretends to read the book he carries around with him for such times. He hates to show other people weakness, so when he acts scared it's usually fake, unless you let him walk on the streets at night. Jjongie usually has a positive mindset, but when depressed will snap out at anyone. At such times, he'll lean against the corner of their dorm wearing a hoodie and refusing to look at others. His hyungs make fun of it, calling it his, 'emo corner.' Jonghyun talks nonstop, happy or unhappy. When he taunts people, he won't hesitate to do so to his hyungs as well, not sparing anyone from his tornado of words. It's also been proved that he is good at wriggling out of things he doesn't want to do, mainly by changing the subject and waiting until people forget about it. He's very competitive, and he hates the feeling of losing or coming in second to anyone.

How you met : When they were both trainees, they ran into each other, which caused Juliette to spill coffee all over her clothes. Jonghyun apologized and tried to buy her more coffee, but she wouldn’t let him. He practically forced her to give him her clothes so he could wash them and gave her some of his clothes to wear (there was a slight scandal when she showed up for practice wearing his clothes, which were a sleeveless gray t-shirt and red basketball shorts). When they went to exchange clothes again, they got caught up talking, and very soon because close friends.
