Set limits such as "I want ___ comments before I post the next chapter!" That is so annoying, and it makes me immediately close out of the story regardless of whether or not I liked it. Please do not demand people upvote/subscribe/comment. Don't get whiny when someone gives you legitimate advice. You don't have to take it, but do not attack them because they were trying to help you improve. Do not say things such as "I know it XD" anywhere in your fic because that tells me to exit right away.

Asking for comments, up votes, and subscribers. I hate typos... I really hate it when they don't update.

Authors shouldn't bring their religion into the thanks to for subs, comments, upvotes; idk I find it kinda creepy. Also, they shouldn't add things like "At least 10 comments or I won't update", or "Comment or else I'll kill the main character."

Don't stop updating!!! I mean, it's one thing if you let your readers know that you won't be able to update for a long while, but don't just leave them hanging!

They shouldnt write fanfics if they are going to say:
NO SILENT READERS AND COMMENT PLEASE!
Like when some authors do that sometimes their story aint really good or interesting

When they were not updating for to long and suddenly delete the story >.<
