I'm a spooky reader

Looks like I am the only one who can't enjoy a long - loooooooong - scene with a very odd plot. I read the comments, with people "crying" and "screaming" and "dying" - just as usual - and I couldn't believe that everybody thought it was a masterpiece.

The writers I love, don't write anymore, the writers I used to like are writing the same story endlessly, the writers I thought I would like are imitating the style of the writers I used to like and the writers I like don't write that much.

 

Sigh...

I'm bad at updating, I didn't have my own style until I started University but now I'm swamped with work ¬¬ I agree, the writers that used to be good aren't any more.

Personally, if the has no meaning or comes out of nowhere, I skip. I tried to read some -based oneshots and I found some of them fine. I enjoyed them, but then I freaked out with all the kink-based things. There were some weirds scenes my mind couldn't process. Probably it's the age talking here that's why I relate to you Polly.
I don't like to read about just because I'm a bored grown-up lol I need more and when I don't have more, I just keep quiet and try to enjoy what I have :(

I know I have no rights for commenting this since I'm not a great writer either. I do like a long story, but what I mean long is not the thesis-long fiction because I kinda felt dizzy when reading it. But you know, I appreciate the write by telling them it's great. I myself can't imagine how to even write all those stuffs. Recently I feel what's supposed to be here, in the GTOP fandom's gone. I don't know... Like, I reread all those amazing fics on lj these past weeks, I miss it. Like Miss sir_woolley's works for example (and I'm so happy she's back). So... What's wrong with the GTOP fandom now. Sorry I talk about these nonsenses on your blog post.

Oh Polly I hope my stories does not disappoint you. I can't say anything about fics because I like some of them, but I agree the ones with extremely bizzare plot kind of creeps me.. I just hope I'm not one of those who you don't like anymore, kekekekeke

what do you mean-- an odd plot?
i usually skip long scenes if there is no plot. if all the fic us about ing in the shower, or ing in the club, or ing in the car etc, basically if it is a pwp, i usually finish it in like 30 seconds.
