Dream Blog: B2ST

I have really ridiculous and vivid dreams. Normally, I'd tell my brother/bestfriend about it, but he doesn't dream, so he doesn't find them nearly as entertaining as I do.

Anyway, sometimes I dream about KPOP idols, and since my brother/bestfriend would rather eat a banana peel than listen to these dreams, I thought I'd document them in this AFF blog-thingy.

Here is last night's installment, in pseudo-story mode. Enjoy!

When I entered the auditorium, I immediately noticed an electricity hanging in the air. It was the day of B2ST's concert, a smaller venue here in America, and the space hummed with a nervousness and excitement that everyone felt but tried to ignore. The seats were forward-facing pews, making the auditorium look more like a church, but I didn't find that weird.

Yoseob strolled casually in front of me, carrying a small duffel bag for luggage. He had a colorful hat and an easy gait, and when he passed, he threw me a familiar head nod, and then tossed his bag into one of the pews.

I remembered that I was lucky enough to work with B2ST as their assistant, but through my work, I was also quickly becoming a reliable friend. I could tell that Yoseob was nervous and didn't want to show it, so I made a mental note to give him a quick hug before the concert started.

I walked to the stage, where the crew was setting up. I helped unravel one of the mic wires, and then remembered that Kikwang had wanted to ask me something and was waiting for me. I scanned the pews, and found him sitting at one, eyes cast down as he played with his phone.

I strode up to him. "Hey, Kikwang! What's up?"

When he met my eye, he broke into his trademark eye-smile, and immediately, I smiled back. His smile is always so contagious. I wondered briefly how I could be so lucky that he smiles like this to me on a regular basis.

"Hey! I was wondering if you could watch our luggage through the concert."

I glanced beside him, and saw a small mountain of different colored duffel bags. His was boxy, and the same shade of beige as the jacket he was wearing.

"Sure, no problem!"

At that, he smiled again, and stood to go get ready.

For a while, I sat at the pew next to their luggage. The auditorium started filling up with anxious fans. Suddenly, I recognized my new friend (who, as far as I know, has no idea about KPOP). She entered with her clique, a bunch of people I didn't know, and sat a couple pews in front of me.

I waited for her to settle down before catching her eye.

"Oh!" she exclaimed. "What are you doing here?" she asked me.

"I'm here for the concert! I see you are, too?"

"Yeah! It's my first time ever listening to KPOP."

Suddenly, I felt anxious, wondering what she would think of B2ST. I prayed that their show would be exceptionally good.

"Why are you sitting there, by yourself?" she asked, breaking me from my reverie. "Sit up here with me."

I hesitated. I wanted to spend the concert with my new friend, but I also didn't want to leave the boys' luggage unattended after Kikwang asked me to keep watch.

"Uh... okay," I found myself saying. I cringed, hoping this wasn't a bad idea.

The concert began, but I couldn't concentrate because I worried about what my friend thought, and I worried about the safety of the boys' luggage. I tried to look back from where I sat, but I couldn't spot the luggage amid all the people that had come for the concert. Beside me, my friend sat quietly, watching with neither a smile nor a frown, and though her face was as emotionless as a statue, I feared that she hated what she heard.

The boys went through their regular set list. I was surprised when I didn't recognize a couple of their later songs. Suddenly, as part of their routine, they fell to the ground, stuck their legs in the air, and did a couple dance moves while on their back.

At this, I turned to my friend, and she was frowning. Does she not like them?, I worried. My heart sunk a little. But then I remembered that I still loved them, so then I didn't feel so bad. My friend could think what she wants. I know where I stand.

...And then I woke up.

I know this is hella random. Now that I'm done, I think it's pretty clear that I'm writing this for my own entertainment XD  But, if you want to continue the story, or borrow the idea for your own fanfic, that's cool with me (just let me know!).

Talk to you later, and until then, sweet dreams everybody!
