Background: Camille was born to Michelle and Lucas Bernard on April 17th, 1996. Soon after her birth, her mother was killed in a tragic hit and run accident. In the years after, Lucas did his best to raise Camille on his own while trying to manage a new job as a chief at a fancy restaurant in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Eventually, Lucas meets Park Chomin, a lively young woman who was also a single mother to two twin boys, who had recently moved into their apartment complex. After several years of dating, the two finally tied the knot a little before Camille’s 8th birthday and not long after, they had their first child together Jeremy Bernard.
Growing up, Camille always knew she wanted to be an actress, she would watch movies with Angelia Jolie, Sandara Bullock and Jennifer Aniston and couldn't help but, think "WOW I want to be like her when I grow up" When she was little she would watch Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet all day every day; she just loved the way they talked and wanted to speak just like them (this is what sparked her love for Shakespeare). In order to keep Camille busy when she was 4 her Lucas enrolled her in gymnastics (which is what sparked her interest in cheerleading).
When Camille was 11 years old her parents decided to move to Seoul, South Korea after Chomin was offered a job from one of the most prominent universities in South Korea. Unlike her older brothers, Camille had no problem moving all the way across the world to Seoul. She really didn't have any friends in school or gymnastics anyway; the only thing she was worried about was the fact that she didn't know much Korean since her step-mother rarely spoke it around the kids, the only reason why she knew French was because of her father used to leave her with at his parent’s house and they would often speak to her in French. In order to keep Camille busy when she was 4 her Lucas enrolled her in gymnastics (which is what sparked her interest in cheerleading).
When Camille was 11 years old her parents decided to move to Seoul, South Korea after Chomin was offered a job from one of the most prominent universities in South Korea. Unlike her older brothers, Camille had no problem moving all the way across the world to Seoul. She really didn't have any friends in school or gymnastics anyway; the only thing she was worried about was the fact that she didn't know much Korean since her step-mother rarely spoke it around the kids, the only reason why she knew French was because of her father used to leave her with at his parent’s house and they would often speak to her in French. How do you treat Myungsoo? > Myungsoo is Camille's best friend. He knows everything Camille inside out and can read her like a book. Whenever Camille and Myungsoo are together they punch each other’s arms, they play fight, they aren’t afraid to hold hands in public and they even share food if the other wants to try what they’re having; these two share pretty much everything. They support each other in everything and anything they do. They know everything there is to know about each other and haven’t been separated ever. You would think the two were a married couple, but they aren’t and get grossed out whenever someone even brings it up. Because they both have similar personalities they often get into a lot of arguments, but they can never stay mad at each other for long and by like the next hour they are besties again. They text each other constantly when they aren't with each other -even in the middle of class- and can't go more than two days without talking to each other. They are pretty much always seen laughing together, causing major confusion to those around them wondering what they are laughing at only making them laugh harder. Camille never keeps anything from Myungsoo, things she doesn't even tell her borthers or the other girls (or Youngjae) she'll immediately tell Myungsoo.
Is there something only he does know about you? > Myungsoo is the only person in the whole wideworld to know about Camille's conflicting feelings for Kris. He also knows that Camille and Kris have kissed not, once, not twice but enough times for him to lose track of exactly how many times those two kissed- he stopped counting after they had their 10th kiss).
How did you guys met? > Myungsoo and Camille met when Camille first moved to South Korea. When Myungsoo first saw her on the first day of school (this is after she just moved from New York) he became very curious about the girl with the pale skin and long brown wavy hair. Myungsoo kept his tabs on her and realized she was the new girl everyone was talking about, the one who came from America who couldn't speak Korean. At first he didn't pay much attention to her, but then he saw something that upset him very much and made him want to protect that little girl. That day he saw the pretty American girl being bullied by a bunch of boys. They were picking on her because she wasn't Korean and didn't understand what they were saying, Myungsoo felt bad for her and had this sudden urge to protect the new girl so he went over to the boy who was doing all of the taunting and punched him in his face and told him "NEVER TOUCH MY GIRL!!! DO YOU HEAR ME??? I SAID DON'T YOU EVER MAKE FUN OF HER AGAIN BEFORE I BEAT THE LIVING DAY LIGHTS OUT OF YOU!" The group of boys were so scared that they ran off. Myungsoo then turned to Camille and asked what her name was, when he saw the confused look on her face he suddenly remembered that she didn't speak Korean, so he asked her in broken English what her name was "Hey...you...what...you.. name?" Camille didn't understand him at first but when she heard his broken English she smiled and said "MiCha, but you can call me Mimi". From that day on Myungsoo made it his duty to help Camille with her Korean and to be her personal body guard while Camille made it her duty to teach him English and try to learn to take care of herself.
How does he treat your love interests/does he get along with them? >
►Kris- Myungsoo absolutely hates Kris with a burning passion, He feels as though Kris is just messing around with Camille's emotions and that he doesn't have any feelings for Camille other than the fact that he wants to get in her pants like almost any other guy. There is just something about Kris that Myungsoo doesn't like. Whenever he sees Kris and Camille together he gives Kris the evil eye because he wants Kris to know that if he even so much as makes Camille break a nail he'll break his face. The two don't get along at all, whenever they are in the same room together, without Camille, they get into heated arguments about the stupidest things. In all honesty its Myungsoo who startes them because he wants an excuse to whoop Kris' .
►Jongup- Myungsoo has no problems with Jongup and thinks he's a pretty sweet kid with big dreams.
