Detention for the First Time...

I've always been told that DETENTION stinks and how boring it is to be in one. But, I've come here to say that... It's not that bad as I thought it would(or at least not at my school)... Some of you might thought that, I'm crazy and have completely lost my sanity... but, seriously... it's true... and here's why... It's started when I 'accidentally' woke up late, which leads me to coming late to school(obviously, ugh!). Later, at recess, I was told that I have a detention class... all I had to do is clean a classroom for 10 mins during my recess... I'm like, "oh... okay." We went there(we as in some other unfortunate late-comers such as myself) and stopped at the door. Okay, the room was quite clean to start with... and the tables and chairs were in the right places, where they should be... the only thing that need some cleaning was the windows... im like, "can anyone explain to me, what are we supposed to do exactly?" Since there was no dirty cloth for us to clean it, I went to my class(which, btw, is located 3 blocks away) to only have myself taking the cloth(I don't even know why I did it... I mean, I'm a lazy, very lazy person... so yeah...) When I get there, with wet cloth in my hand, the person in charge told me that my time's up and I'm allowed to have my recess... I'm like, "whut whut whut whut whut..." She took the cloth and told me to go, but my feet was rooted there in front of the door. I mean, I went to my far, far away class for nothing and I felt like I didn't really do anything during that 10 mins. I'm speechless, but of course... I went off to the cafeteria and ate like nothing happen... So... that is why I said that detention was not that bad as I thought it was supposed to be. Or was it my school? Hmmm...
