So there's this big project for English in school...

We've split up into groups and we have to write our own ballad. I'm going to be posting up stanza by stanza as we go along to see if you guys can help improve it in any way? I'd really appreciate it if you can. Like, just any ideas you have or different wordings we could use, that is if y'all don't mind, it would be great. <3

This is what we have for the first stanza...(It was like a 2 minute thing ok ; ;)

First day of school in September,

these kids did not know

their lives would change forever,

but will take a while to show.

Oh, the story is basically there were these 2 kids(girl and a boy, obviously) who grew up together and have stayed with each other till death did them part. LOL OTL
