Tohoshinki has appeared in a Japanese current affairs magazine and revealed the secret to their ability to be such a huge success in Japan.

In the magazine “PRESIDENT” which went on sale on December 12th, there is a Tohoshinki interview where they talked about the key factors to be successful in a different country with a different language. Seeing that the magazine has a main target reader audience comprising of professional executives, the fact that Tohoshinki has appeared on it is an unprecedented instance.

Choikang Changmin said, “Even though we’re also like that, there are situations where Korean men are very consciously aware of the difference in their self-confidence in reality and their self-confidence in an ideal setting. Tohoshinki’s charm comprises of the raw, unpolished unique traits that only Koreans are capable of, and when we work hard to learn the Japanese culture, it naturally becomes a plus point.” U-Know Yunho emphasized the importance of working hard, “I think that, in order to receive love from people, there is no way other than to work so hard to the extent that you feel like dying.”

In a different corner which used keywords picked out by 50 famous personalities as the key factors for success in 2012 after the huge earthquake last March where Japan was faced with a new situation, Tohoshinki chose the word “growth” and revealed, “Next year, we want to repay Japan, who has supported us till now, by showing Japan the sides of us who have grown and improved.” Particularly, the 50 personalities mainly comprised of businessmen, scholars, writers etc, so the fact that Tohoshinki was included in that list was even more eye-catching.

Meanwhile, Tohoshinki is scheduled to appear on the “62nd NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen”, where only those teams which have had the most outstanding activities can appear in.
