Family background: Grew up a happy kid, what more is there to say. His parents were very doting and sweet, they wanted him to strive for more than he could do. He didn't seem to think anything was wrong, but for better or worse around the age of eight his parents got divorced. He took it very well, not really surprised. His father was someone who could have been happier and he is. Kaede spends most of his time with his mother, keeps up with his grades and isn't the golden boy at all, he hates sports which disappointed his father but they passed that ridiculous phase.
