Leeteuk is a mysterious and quiet guy. He appears distant around people and only talks when he has to. He may seem like a trouble maker and a boy with great ego and attitude but in fact, Leeteuk hates fighting and would avoid any kind of conflict at any cost. For some reason, Leeteuk he has this warm, almost inviting aura around him that makes people easily attracted to him. Their first impression of Leeteuk is of someone who’s insecure and easy to manipulate therefore a lot of people often underestimate him. However, even though Leeteuk holds that cold and disinterested façade, he is a very nice person, open-minded and easy-going. He doesn’t give away his trust easily and takes his time opening up to others because he’s afraid of those he loves or cares about leaving him so he doesn’t want to get too attached to people. Therefore, he acts hard to get and is sometimes rather arrogant, concentrating himself on minding his own business as he doesn’t like much attention on him. Regardless to his attitude, Leeteuk is a very polite kid with good manners and respect for others.
When someone manages to see through Leeteuk’s façade, they discover a loyal and trustworthy friend who is always there when you need him. He’s very mature, independent and responsible for his age, but like any other teenager, he likes to have fun. Being easy-going and open-minded, people enjoy his company as he is easy to talk to and fun to be around. Leeteuk cares deeply for those who are important to him and it usually surprises people how protective he can be over someone. Leeteuk is very honest, with a rather sharp tongue and is not afraid to tell the truth into a person’s face, even though he hates fights. He only says it for the best, as he hates people ing or picking on him or his friends.
Leeteuk is very devoted and passionate about what he does and loves. He is quite stubborn and determined when he wants something. He is a tad bit rebellious and doesn't always listen to others. If something feels nice and safe to him and he has a reason to do it, he will do it. Leeteuk is the kind of a person who believes he can always do better than he’s already doing. Therefore, he often goes hard on himself, often putting others’ wellbeing before his own. Not to prove himself to others or to compete with those who may be better than him but he does it because he enjoys it and because he wants to make something out of his life.
Leeteuk is very affectionate and when he opens up to someone, he will share a lot of skinship with that person. He doesn’t do it with anybody but he does enjoy occasional hugs or caresses from people around him.
It may not seem like it but Leeteuk is very smart and has a good feel for what is right and what is wrong, he just doesn’t like to show off in front of people with how much he knows about things. He’s not a blabbermouth and doesn’t brag about anything. Leeteuk rarely does anything to intimidate or angry anyone but when he knows that he’s wrong, he will admit it and apologize if he thinks he has to.
Leeteuk is very patient and doesn’t lose his temper easily but when something really upsets him, he prefers to keep it to himself. He doesn’t like crying in front of people but when his emotions get too much to bear, he would prefer having someone by his side to comfort him, even though he would never admit it.
♚Background:
Jung Leeteuk was born in Jeju City but was raised in a small village of Gangjong just outside the city, on Jeju Island. He was born to a single 17-year-old mother. His mother was only 16 when she went to Seoul to train under SM Entertainment in hopes to become a singer. There she fell in love with another trainee who was actually training to debut as an idol himself and they dated and she got pregnant with him. Knowing that she can’t ruin his reputation, Leeteuk’s mother never told anything about her pregnancy to Leeteuk’s father and because she decided to keep the baby, she got disowned by her own family. So she moved to Gangjong where a nice old lady took her in and took care of her as her own daughter. There she gave birth to Leeteuk.
Leeteuk was born with a genetic mutation called heterochromia (which is a lack of pigments in his genes) which causes him to have two eyes of different colours. None of his parents have it but according to his mother, his grandmother has it as well, his father's mother. He was also born 6 weeks before he was meant to be born and as a result he has a very weak immune system. He could get sick easily and his mother would often make a fuss of it. Nevertheless, Leeteuk enjoyed his childhood, growing up in a small town with his best friend since diapers, Kara. Kara was mute but that never stopped Leeteuk from being friends with her, in fact he even learned Sign Language from her parents just so he can communicate with her. They were very close and loved each other like siblings would.
However, when Leeteuk was 12, a cruel fate took his friend away from him. Kara passed away from leukaemia at the young age of 13, a day after her birthday. Leeteuk was badly affected by the loss of his friend and his depression worried his mother. She decided that for Leeteuk’s own good, it would be the best if they moved from the small town they lived in. Leeteuk then moved to Seoul, where he met his new friend Zelo who somehow managed to pull him out of the depression and brought some hope in Leeteuk’s life.
Leeteuk grew up fatherless and he always wondered what happened to his father. Only when he was 14, his mother told him the truth about his father and since then Leeteuk has been determined to meet him. He knew it wouldn’t be easy since his father was a busy and well-known man. But he knew there had to be a way. And he found it in auditioning for TS Entertainment at the age of 15.
Leeteuk always loved to dance. It was his passion ever since he learned how to walk. His mother found it adorable and always supported him in his passion. Leeteuk started off with simple dances like popping or moonwalking but as he grew older and stronger, he started to learn street dance, break dance and acrobatics. When he moved to Seoul, he discovered the underground dance battles as his friend Zelo was into it as well. Leeteuk was only 14 when he got involved into underground dance battles and became very well-known for his unique moves and style. He was also involved in an underground group called Soul Connection alongside of B.A.P.’s Yong Guk.
When he was 15, Leeteuk got scouted by one of the managers from TS Entertainment and got recommended to audition. Leeteuk didn’t hesitate to do it as he realized it would be a good way of getting in contact with his father. Leeteuk easily passed the auditions and started training under TS along with his best friend Zelo. He found training hard but he knew it would pay out some day as he was determined to get in contact with his father and he figured he can only do that if he makes an idol out of himself. His dreams got shattered, however, when he injured his right leg during his first year of training. The operation on his leg caused him to retract from training from a couple of months. With a support of his mother and friends, Leeteuk forced himself to recover quickly and get back to training as soon as possible.
Leeteuk knew he was gay ever since he started getting into the underground dancing. At the time, a lot of girls were throwing themselves at him but never once was he attracted to any of them. In fact, he found himself fawning over his handsome band mates and those y- idols. He was in a couple of relationships with girls but they never really worked out because he would soon get bored of those girls as he didn’t feel any attraction to them. He never dated a guy though nor had a relationship with one.

any luck in her life. She is very submissive to people around her and it is easy to manipulate her. Nevertheless, she is a
great mother, very reliable, devoted and caring towards her only son. She is kind of childish and likes to son a
lot. | Leeteuk admires his mother for everything she’s been through ever since she gave birth to him. Him and his
mother are extremely close, there is no secrets between them and they rely on each other no matter what. Leeteuk’s
mother knows and doesn’t mind that her son is gay or that he wants to be an idol or that he wants to meet his father.
She still has feelings for Leeteuk's father but is too afraid to step in contact with him again. She never got married or
dated any other guy since Leeteuk's birth becasue she wanted to pay all her attention to her son.
Father | An Seungho [Tony An] | 35 | June 7, 1978 | Singer/Music Producer | Very old-fashioned, polite and awkward at first sight but he can be rather funny and easy going. He is
a very caring and protective person, has a lot of patience and is reliable. | Leeteuk has no
relationship with his father whatsoever, as his father doesn’t know of his existence. Leeteuk
knows who his father is and truth be told, he admires his father as an idol but he would do
anything to let his overly busy father know about his son. Tony, on the other side, always
had and still has feelings towards Leeteuk’s mother and even though she left him years ago,
he still longs to know where she is and how is she doing. He currently resides in in Seoul with
his new girlfriend.
♚Friends: 
Bang Yong Guk | 22 | March 31, 1990 | Idol [B.A.P.] | Tough-looking guy with a kind heart. He’s a very loyal friend
and is very protective over people close to him. He can be very serious and hot-headed at times and it’s hard to calm
him down when he’s angry. Maybe it doesn’t seem like it at times but Yong Guk can be a real sweetheart and fun to be
around. | Leeteuk’s bandmate, Yong Guk knows a lot about the magnae of Soul Connection, put it that they’ve known
each other for a while. Leeteuk and Yong Guk have a hyung-dongsaeng relationship as Leeteuk always wanted a
brother or a sister of his own. The two of them like to talk about anything and everything and rely on each other a lot.
While Leeteuk seeks comfort and advice form Yong Guk, Yong Guk likes to tease Leeteuk but also feels like he has to
protect him.
Choi Minho | 21 | December 9, 1991 | Idol [SHINee] | Very charismatic and doesn’t talk much when you first meet him.
Minho is a definition of gentleman, polite and kind. However, he can be rather stubborn and competitive. He likes to
seek attention and is a real child in heart. He likes to joke around but is a very loyal and supportive person and would do
anything for those he cares about. | Leeteuk and Minho aren’t particularly close but they do enjoy each other’s
company from time to time. Minho and Leeteuk met during one of B.A.P.’s and SHINee’s performances on Mnet during
Leeteuk’s pre-debut days. They clicked almost instantly and even today they contact each other when they’re not too
busy.
Joo Kara [OC] | 18 (deceased at the age of 13) | December 30, 1995 (died January 1, 2008) | Even though
mute, Kara was a very smiley and bright person. She | Kara was like an older/younger sister to Leeteuk. Even
though she was older than him and was very considerate ad caring towards him, Kara’s disability always held
her back to take care of herself or Leeteuk. Therefore, Leeteuk was always there for her. They grew up together
and Leeteuk learned Sign Language from Kara’s parents to communicate with her. They were best friends and
cared for each other a lot. When Kara passed away, Leeteuk was badly affected and thought that he will never
find a friend like Kara.
Choi Jun Hong [Zelo] | 16 | October 15, 1996 | Idol [B.A.P.] | Mischievous and playful, Zelo
loves to muck around and enjoys playing pranks on his hyungs. He can be a real baby
sometimes, but is very smart for someone his age. He can be cute and adorable in order to get
what he wants but don’t underestimate him. He can get very nasty and rude when pissed off.
He may seem like a tease but Zelo can be very protective over a person he cares about. |
Leeteuk and Zelo went to the same school and were classmates when Leeteuk first moved to
Seoul. | They’ve been friends ever since they met and went through a lot together. Zelo was
Leeteuk’s first friend after the death of his only friend Kara and for a long time, Zelo was his
only friend as well. It may seem like Zelo is usually the one who’s older of the two as he is often
seen comforting Leeteuk and listening to his problems. However, when they’re alone, Zelo
would usually be babied by Leeteuk himself, instead of the other way around. Leetuk and Zelo
really rely on each other and would do anything for each other.
Group Member || Leeteuk likes masculine guys who are strong-headed but real softies in their hearts. He’s not particularly picky but he prefers guys who can protect him and shower him with love at the same time. He’s somehow drawn to mysterious types as well. However, he wants to be with someone who will protect him and who will only have eyes on him. He also looks for affection, receiving it or showing it to someone himself. If a person is able to hold his hand, hug him or even kiss him in public then that person is the right person for Leeteuk. He would like to be with someone who would trust him and who would share their troubles with him and rely on him. Leeteuk’s ideal type is someone who will support him and be by his side no matter what, someone who will make him feels happy and special.

Leeteuk wears whatever he finds comfortable even if it’s cheap. He doesn’t like things that are too catchy and uncomfortable. Casually, he prefers wearing jeans, V-neck or skin tight T-shirts and hoddies or leather jackets. He has a thing for biker boots and Converse shoes as well. When active in sports or dancing, which happens on casual occasion, Leeteuk will always wear track pants and a wife beater or a hoodie with a pair of comfy sneakers. He doesn’t like dressing up formally but when he really has to, he’ll put up with it.
