Subscribing a Story

It's just my opinion or thoughts. I just want to share.

Well, I'm always looking for new fictions. I have factors affecting my taste of reading.

Well, just wanna find out if I have someone in common? And, uh, for writers to learn someone's point of view? Really dunno. LOL.

PLOT

First, of course, I read the plot. If it's something I like and something fresh for me, I'll read the 1st to 5th chapters. Then there, I would decide if I'll continue reading it.

GRAMMAR

Grammar is a really big thing. I still accept fictions with wrong grammar, but still can understand. But fictions like you know, you got headache, trying to understand the paragraph but no use. That's really terrible. Just like me, it's still understandable right?

I'm not stepping others down, I experienced that stage too. I just study hard and asked for help. Try that, honeys. :)

FONT

For me, this is really a big factor. I really got irritated if I'm having difficulty reading a fic because of this. Just use TIMES NEW ROMAN, LUCIDA SANS UNICODE, ARIAL and CALIBRI, nothing else.

Please remember to press the "Enter"

You're not a writing an essay. Don't put 10 sentences and more in one paragraph. It's irritating, really. And regular font size please.

CHARACTERS LIMITATIONS

I'm not that strict to this. I'm just pissed off because other characters are unknown. I don't know who they are. For me, I only add characters that are popular. Like 2ne1, SHINee, DBSK, SNSD, f(x), WG and etc.

You also need to think the side of readers. It's hard for us. XD

I think that's all? HAHAHA. It's purely sharing. I swear. XD

It's late. I'm too lazy to check the grammar and add some.

Good night!~ :)

I agree in part.
As for the plot of a story, I generally read the first and the last chapter of the fanfic if I the story looks quite cliché- -most of stories on this site are cliché. It's not a bad thing- -honestly, I am a er for cliché, but the story needs to be written with a quite good grammar and I value a lot writing styles. As for the font, I wish the authors will stick to one (or two if there are flashbacks) because I hate seeing parts written in different fonts- -just as you said, it gives me headaches.
Character limitations- -You don't have to use popular ones. A story can be good without having popular characters- -it depends on how good the author is in giving personalities to her characters. Some stories have OCs and they're characters that the authors invented.
