This is the essay I passed to my English teacher before we graduated:

My Hero

            Cassiopeia(fan club), show everyone you are undefeated!

            Absent-mindedly breathing while longing for someone= Not living even though you are alive.

            These are some memorabl;e quotes and sayings of my favourite singer, composer and actor Kim Jaejoong w/ the stage name Youngwoong/Hero Jaejoong. He chose the stage name Hero because he wants to be a hero in the hearts of people by singing his heart out. He said, “I will sing even if there is just one person who will listen to my music and protect me.” He is willing to sing for everybody. That is one of the reasons he became my hero.

            Most of my classmates here laugh at me because I can’t even see or feel him but I chose him as my hero. Many won’t understand because they do not feel the way I see him. At first he is just an adopted child who worked very hard to reach his dream, being a singer. Because of hardly working for it, he became the jaejoong I know today. At his first year in his former boyband DBSK, no one likes him because he looks so cold. But As years went by, his fellow members and fans saw him as a very warm person. They saw him as a dorky and crazy friend, an entertainer to his fans, and a very good playmate of children.

            His looks, and most of all his personality caught me. My curiosity about him arouse until I liked him. He showed me that his sayings are true. “If two people can love each other w/o even speaking the same language, age and numbers are even easier to overcome.” He also loves his fans. He said, “There were times when I thought fans are just fans, but that’s not true. I would see people having a hard time or feeling happy because of me, and when I look back on myself, there were many times I would have a hard time or would feel happy because of my fans. We have an existence like that of nature… It would have been a great misfortune if I ended my career w/o even knowing that such a bond could exist.” He evn feeds his fans during his concerts.

            Since the disbanding of DBSK, we have these message for them: “Even if it takes forever, I’ll wait, we’ll wait; because there is nothing more beautiful than our love for you. Oppas need to know that Cassiopeia is still alive and we are eternal.” “No matter what others say, we’ll believe in you. Even if it gets hard to bear, we’ll protect you. Even if it takes an eternity, we’ll wait for you. As much as you believe in us, we’ll love you.” ~Cassiopeia

            A hero does not need to die for someone. Someone can be a hero by doing ordinary things people see as extraordinary. Everyone can be one by touching someone’s heart or life. This realization can make someone happy to have someone like that.

 He’s been the hero in my heart so judge not. Do not criticized me for choosing Jaejoong as my hero because he achieved his dream. He really had been a hero in the hearts of people around the world, and I am one of them. It isn’t my fault to see him as one. I just feel it by my heart. Always keep the faith! He became the one who taught me to believe in that saying and he inspired me to show others who I am.

He made my self-esteem go up. He is one of the reasons why I became more caring, loving and thankful to the people around me. Because of him, I had the desire in me to show the world what I’ve got. I learned that in every trial and suffering that you encounter, you will get the reward for it if you just work hard for it. No pain, no gain.
