Hello fellow fanfictioners and blogger and anyone else who actually reads this lol.
Today I shall blog about the only obsession I have and have had since 2006 .

BIGBANG

I have been obessed with these boys for a good 7 years of my life and I have absolutely no regets, even if I have spent ... close to thousands on merchandise alone. I have friends and family who say my obsession has gone a little overboard since I do spend hundreds on their merch and the fact that I don't think twice about the money I use.

They make music that I LOVE listening to, they have style that i admire and they have voices that make my heart melt. I'm pretty sure there isn't a single thing they have done that I dont like. I love everything they do and everything they stand for, which in my opinion is indiviuality.

I pretty much fell in love with them when i first found out about back in 2006 (when they first debuted) and how I first came across from them was pure accident lol I was downloading Mariah Carey's "We belong together" and whilst on the hunt for the song online (through Limewire lol) I found "We belong together (korean ver.)" and being KPOP crazy (I was all about DBSK back then lol) I knew i had to download it. Once the download finish, i procceded to listen to song and notice it sounded NOTHING like Mariah's version but nonetheless I thought it was catchy as hell! But there was on problem ... there was no artist listed with the song so I pretty much had to hunt for the song on my own and one thing led to another and I found out the song was by BIGBANG ... and the rest, as they say, is history.

If you ask my why I love these boys so much and have for so long, my answer would go on for days but a summerised version of my answer would be that I look up to them. Their hard work and determination towards everything they do had only made me want to work harder towards everything I do, to prove to myself that I too, can achieve my best and I have. I had finished my nursing course, I now work full time as a dental nurse, got my licence and bought my very own car and manage to even loose 8kgs. I never thought I would do any of those thing, but I did. I know that they may seem like simple things that anyone on this planet can do but to me, it was an achievement.

They can make me smile with whatever it is they do. They have taught me to never give up (JiYong), never stop smiling (DaeSung), never lose faith (YoungBae), never take everything seriously (SeungHyun) and never stop learning (SeungRi).

To me, these boys are brave and headstrong. When faced with troubles, criticism, scandals and drama, they dont run and hide. They face the world and show them what they've got and come back fighting. They aren't afraid to be different, especially in a (media) world where appearence means quite alot. They will do something outragous, completely out there and it wouldn't affect them at all. They have taught me its alright to be different and to stand out, no matter what anyone says because I am me and I'm, as to quote G-dragon, "One of a kind".

In the end, they are more than just a group I follow and love. This isnt a phase I'm going through (if it were a phase, it should have ended years ago lol). They are my idols, my teachers, my role models who have my respect till the very end.

They will always be BIGBANG and I will always be a VIP.
