HEY GUYYYS. I just wanted to share this with you all. No, I didn’t go to Korea, but there’s like a ‘Korea Town’ near my home so I ate lunch at a Korean restaurant, and then I went and visited Korean shops, and I wanted to show you all photos and stuff.

Let’s just say - it sure is different watching Korean dramas or MVs on screen, and then seeing Korean things in real life. Am I the only one who gets excited seeing a Korean person? Yes? Okay …. >_<

Anyway I went to a Korean Grill, and when I went in, there was a tv playing 2NE1’s It Hurts MV, which was kinda cool. They also had tables with the grill in the middle, like in the dramas. I really wanted to try it but it was like 30 bucks and so I was like NAH so I got Chicken teriyaki and it came with a ton of sides. Here’s some food :

That would be my incredibly delicious teriyaki. Still drooling, tbh.

My mom got Bi Bim Bap, which was super delicious, too. It tasted like a salad almost, it had tons of veggies in it, and it was suppper spicy. It was nice, we had a good view of any new customers, so every time a person came in the workers would greet ‘Yoboseyo’ and it made me smile.

Anyway, so we went to like this giant Asian market and there were a ton of little Asian stores, there was like a Korean makeup store bla bla anyway I went inside a Korean accessories store, they had super cute cellphone jack charms, pens, backpacks, stuff toys, headbands - I wanted to buy some but you know i was broke … and then I found this.

And I basically started inwardly screaming because it was ALL DEDICATED TO KPOP and there were Cds and posters and cellphone charms, notebooks, pens, keychains, calendars, PHOTOBOOKS, mugs, etcetcetc and I went crazy. I wanted a poster so bad but they were like, 14? Last time I checked I could get them for like 8 dollars online. (Then again the last time I bought a poster was 2 years ago, merp … ) Their CDs were like 25 or something. I honestly almost bought something to give away to you guys but then I was like, I’m broke. Sad face.

There was this girl that came in that started gushing to her mom about something, and when I tuned in, she was asking her mom if she could buy an EXOM poster, and her mom said no, and she was like, I KNEW IT. And she started saying, “Oh my gosh mom, but Lay is so cute.” And she pointed Lay out on the poster and her mom just shook her head and walked away. Meanwhile the girl stood squealing over the poster. Literally she just stood there staring at it and she had a giant smile on her face and some weird high pitched noise came out of and in my head I think, “Wow that’s totally me whenever a new MV or teaser photo comes out I can’t even speak comprehensible words.”

They didnt have EXOK stuff though. They had like everything but EXOK. So I don’t know if EXOK merchandise just isn’t popular overseas …? I dunno but yeah it was fun.

And I’m gonna go again and buy something and then maybe I will do a giveaway.
