I'm such a failure . T^T

Since like 11am, I've been trying to make a poster. It's already 6pm here and guess what? Yup, I've not even done one.

Oh God, I'm such a failure. How do those people do it anyway? It's like the HARDEST THING EVER. I mean learning how to make a trailer is WAY easier that! It took me just 4 hours to plan and make a trailer but it took me 7 hours and not even a poster is done. -3-

Whoever who is good at doing posters and is reading this ridiculous blog, mind sharing a secret or a tip? I seriously failed at it. And I even tried following a guide.

I'm going to start crying buckets now. T^T

I agree with miyoungslim12. You should try and visualize the poster first and pull ideas from past things you've seen or sounds appealing. Don't try to be fancy when you first make it. Try adding characters first and then make your background and adding textures and stock :)

You're not a failure. It happens to all us. I've been trying to do a oneshot request for about 2 weeks now and I still can't get it done. =( Hwaiting!!

You should like visualize how the poster will look like first! Then you could look for inspiration (search for book covers/movie posters, don't just look at AFF posters!)
And don't replicate! Use other posters for inspiration only, unless you want to do a poster from a tutorial or something, but with your own characters.

You're not the only one! Count me in >< I tried for really long and ended up giving up lol.
