Personality: It's hard to determine what her personality is like due to the fact that she never seems to talk much, or react to anything. (This will be explained in the background) But one thing we know for sure is if you were to threaten, hurt, or bully her, she will remain apathetic. Whereas, if you were to threaten, hurt or bully her loved ones, her top will blow and she will silently, but surely, deal the blow back to you ten fold. She also has a great sense of justice, and has a kind heart (though most don't know this due to her silent she is). If she were to see rowdy boys bullying a young child for their lunch money, she would go and give them a good yelling off and warn them never to do that again. If she were to see a pregnant woman entering labor on the streets, she would quickly go and help her to hospital, even if she was already late for an appointment.

Haneul is also extremely lazy at the same time. She hates doing unnecessary things, and would rather conserve her energy for doing something more important and interesting. Hanuel is also extremely blunt and straight forward, as she hates beating around the bush. She is a true believer of "Honesty is the best policy" so if you're fishing around for compliments when you know they're not true, don't bother asking her.

Haneul isn't very girly at all, but if you were to say she were a tomboy that wouldn't be completely right either. She's more like somebody who doesn't care much about alot of things, and when she does care alot about something she dives headfirst into it. When she wants something and you're in the way, you should really watch out.

Family:

Mother: Chen Yi Lin. Chinese woman who is highly trained in martial arts and languages. Currently works as an embassy representative for China in Korea.

Father: Jang Jae Hwa. Half Korean-Half Japanese man who is a highly talented composer. Current location and job unknown.

Older Sister: Jang Sun Yee. Suddenly deemed as a missing person 5 years ago. Still hasn't been foud yet today.

Haneul's ethnic background makes her a half chinese, quarter japanese and quarter korean girl. Her sister suddenly disappeared 5 years ago when she was 12 and her sister was 20. Her father also suddenly disappeared from in front of her 7 years ago leaving a note saying [Don't look for me]. Due to her broken up family, she doesn't talk as much anymore. After her father disappeared their family travelled around alot due to her mother's job. She ended up picking up several languages due to this.

Haneul is an extremely intelligent (IQ 173) girl and also has a fantastic educational background. At the age of 17, she managed to complete a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Columbia University. She skipped several years as a child, and whilst they were travelling it was too troublesome for her to re-enroll again and again at different schools everytime she moved to a place for less than half a year, so she was home-schooled by her mother most of the time. This explains how she skipped many grades.

Haneul lived in San Francisco when she was young, and her and Kevin were extremely close when they were younger, being next door neighbours and family friends (their mothers were good friends). It was this way, until Haneul had to move away when she was 10.

Explanation for her nickname 50-yen:

While she was living in Japan for 2 years, she attended a prestigious middle school there full of rich young women and men. Once 50 yen dropped out of her wallet, and when she was buying her lunch she was short 50 yen. Just as she was about to apologise for 50 yen she was lacking, a girl by the name of Kanoko came in and placed 50 yen on the counter for her. Kanoko later became good friends with her and called her 50 yen as a nickname.
