For two days I was at a place that has limited internet so as soon as I got home, I immediately went and check my KPOP news. I checked if there were news about my FTI boys but sadly there was none today. Then I typed, "FTIsland February 2013." and i was so surprised with what came on. It says, "LEE HONGKI ON WGM INTERNATIONAL." I immediately opened the sight and it was true, Lee Hongki is finally on WGM.

It's been a while since Hongki was in a variety show (not those type of guesting where he's only on for one episode but as a regular). His last stint I think was Oh My School and he was so much fun to watch. He gets hyper and crazy especially with his friends this is always entertaining to watch. But for people who really knows and follows Hongki, they all know that that is just one side of Hongki since he tends to have mood swings.

I've watched him for almost four years now and there is something I've realized, HE TENDS TO GET AWKWARD WITH GIRLS he's not close with. I do believe that in FTIsland, Hongki is not the friendly type with girls but when he does get close to them, he really gets close with them. For example, his relationship with Shinhye. They are really good friends. You really can't see any awkwardness with them. He and Min of Miss A, they're really close too that they have so many shippers but I never see them as a couple. Good friends, yes but as a couple, not really. They were more like siblings.

Now that Hongki is cast in WGM, I really hope that he'd be able to show people a different side of his. Being in a marriage means you need to be responsible. I really hope Hongki would prove to people that he's not just this fun-loving crazy guy but also that he can be responsible when he needs to be. I want to see his romantic side. I NEED to see his romantic side ( so I can use it as basis for my stories ;).

I really hope that this WGM would boost Hongki's popularity just like what WGM did with Yonghwa. I also know that it's either people will love Hongki more or they will hate him more. I'm hoping for the former than the latter. 

I can't wait for their episodes to air. If I get attached to it, for sure I'll just right my thoughts about it here.
