Katherine isn't your average mary-sue kind of girl. From daring looks, to almost radiate charisma,she isn't the girl you would expect her to be. Don't be fooled by her outer appearance, because inside, there lies an emotional wrecked little girl who is waiting for someone to patch the broken pieces back together. Yes, trouble has always lied within her, and at times she can get herself into heftly situations, but truthfully, she hides her true emotions from the world, and is scared for someone to consider her a weakling. A subject, that is terribly easy to mess with cause of her small frame. Katherine has always been strong-willed, even during the most horrible of times, she can pull through situations better than anyone you will ever know. She has lived through a lot, so she can atleast guarantee herself from being torn again, like how she was in the past. Other than being an emotional shielder, she can get overly-excited at times, and her mood can do a complete 360 turn, and she'll be bubbly in a mere three seconds. Whenever this seems to happen, she'll continue to laugh at the most random things, and it'll take a bulldozer to stop the laughter that will come from her tiny mouth. Whenever you get to know her better, she'll start to open up to you more, and Katherine will be the funnest thing in your life. Or, the life of the party, as others would say it. Out in public with the people she enjoys, she'll continue to crack up joke after joke, and Katherine will always want to make them feel better even if her charms will work only for a little while. Oh, she can get pretty witty at times. Don't doubt the little shortie, she has awesome comebacks if you tick her off. Just don't be surprised when you find your stuff drowned in a lake somewhere, or your clothes drenched in pure water. She can get pretty outrageous when you make her mad, so watch out! You can try to contain her, and make her do what you want her to do, but she is independent, and will always be the type to stick to what she wants to do, and do what she believes is right.

-katherine and chaerin weren't always the closest beings. she met her during her junior high years, and katherine always found her hard to approach. but, all that changed when chaerin was found almost dead in the school's pool. thanks to katherine, chaerin would've died without her. now, they could have never been closer, and they contact eachother alot.

When Katherine was a child, her life wasn't as good as most kids her age. Her father, working for a american-owned factory, made hardly a buck for the day, and was on the edge of breaking away from life itself.Being emotionally damaged, Katherine's dad commited suicide when she was five years old, making it even harder on her now single mom. Living up on the dirty streets of Hong Kong, Katherine learned multiple things in life before she went over to South Korea. Her mother, also containing the power of water, taught her the ways of the elements since they had a nearby pond by their house.For years, Katherine was trained by her mother, and even learned a new trait about herself on the way.Learning that she couldn't help but be near water, she intended to her mother during her ninth year of living that she wanted to be the most powerful elementist in the whole entire world. Little did Katherine know, is that her mother was getting sicker day after day, and that everytime her umma used her element, she would get closer to her death bed. Two years later, Katherine starts to notice the slow changes in her mother, and decides to help tend to her since she knows that she is now physically ill, and in serious help. Being only eleven years old, she finds herself a part time job at her deceased father's factory, and works for only two weeks until the sudden tragic death of her mother.Now, emotionally damaged from both of her parents being dead, the only person left in the Kwon family,besides her, her grandmother, takes her into custody and moved them over to south korea for a better and well isolated life with her granddaughter.Still saddened by her umma's death, Katherine eventually learns how to be independent to herself, and to others who treat her well.When she turned seventeen, and was old enough to be on her own, her ahjumma decides to travel back to china because of her sudden miss of home. She invited her granddaughter to go back, but Katherine decided that korean life was best for her, and that she never intended on going back to china unless to visit her ahjumma.

Baekhyun isn't the funnest boy to be around. If his pessismistic side isn't , then Baekhyun can also be pretty caring and outgoing when he needs to be. His natural charisma, which makes all the girls swoon ever him, is singing. Katherine isn't really too fond of Baekhyun like other girls are. She finds the golden boy to be annoying, and a complete fraud behind his goody act. No, she doesn't hate him, but then again she doesn't particulary care for the handsome faced boy with a beautiful voice. Well, that's what she thought of him at first. After a while, Katherine made a mental note in her head to find out more about him, and try to atleast befriend him. Baekhyun, noticing her friendly attempts to befriend him, made himself get quite flustered by the small girl's proclaims.Baekhyun knew that Katherine didn't like him, that's why she was the only girl in the entire school that didn't try to flirt their way around him.After a while, he started to notice that Katherine was actually quite adorable, and he started to , which is one of the ways Baekhyun showed common courtesy to girls he found intersting.Katherine was appaled by how he started to .
