Opinions...Opinions...And A Lot More Opinions

Ok, I've just realised. All of the blog posts that I have actually posted here all those emotional ones so this one...yes! It's those emotional ones too. But I'm just asking for opinions. Cause I find it more useful to get advices here than people around me. So here goes.

Could you easily forgive someone that disappointed you? Especially if that someone is really close to you. If the only way out is for you to swallow your pride and give in just so that everybody would be happy, would you do it? Even when you know he will keep disappointing you in the future.

So, tell me what you think. I want to know what you would do if you're in that situation. Thanks in advance. :)

There are probably 2 diff ways in which one can feel disappointed in other. 1. That person is below your expectation. 2. You feel betrayed by whatever that person has done.

Either way the outcome is similar. Your views of this person change.

Being unhappy all the time is miserable. Holding grudges is too. It maybe hard but try giving way. You may feel cheated(like that someone is easily let off) but the truth is you would feel better. Really. Your heart feels light due to the lack of emotional burdens.

You probably have seen those 'forgive but won't forget' stuff on FB. It's true. Even though you give way for the sake of everyone, your views change and that person loses your trust. As trust is lost, expectation withers away and disappointment lessens.

End of my not so long comment as promised. And why do I have a hunch that it's about your father?

I think I would put in the place of the person (which disappointed me) and give it a try, because if I would have been that he had done to the other would also request an opportunity. but if you do come back in the future could not give it.
