Minhye also known as Hannah is a cheerful girl. Like her twin sister, they are in the happy mode almost all the time. No matter how cheerful a person is there will always have the sad moments. Minhye doesn't really cry and if she does that there must be something serious. She will be shy like any other girls too especially when she is spazzing of her idols. One thing weird about Minhye is that she rarely get angry with someone because she thinks that everyone in this world will make mistake and she will just forgive them easily. As a result, she is easy to get along and everyone seems to treat her like their own sister. Minhye is a noisy type girl as she can't stand of cold and awkward atmosphere.

Minhye is a confident and determined girl. When she had make up her mind, no one can change it but sometimes Hyerin can do it. She loves helping people and is not scare to give her own opinions. Minhye is a girl who likes to try new things and that is how she became a rapper. Sometimes, she composes rap too. By looking at Minhye, you can't even know that she is a rapper because of her cute image and sweet voices. She may be cool when she is performing but once the song ended, she will change back to her childlike personalities.

Minhye is a neat freak who wants everything to be neat. This is why she keeps on nagging her twin, Hyerin as her room is always messy. Sometimes, she will just help in keeping her twin's room neat as her nagging don't really work everytime. Minhye also loves plushies a lot and her room is full of plushies that are given by her twin and also her friends. Minhye is a super big fan of puppy. She just loves those cute puppies when they wriggles their tail and run to her. Compare to her twin, Minhye is the immature one as she loves playing around and she loves to annoy her sister.

Background:-

Kim Minhye was born in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. But later was moved to Manhattan, New York City. Why did she move? Now let me explain everything. Minhye's father, Hyungsik was a doctor. One day, his friend who was a mafia called up and said that his son needs medical treatments because he was injured. Yes, his friend was asking for his help because his son could not be sent to hospitals because the police are looking for them but he rejected the request to help because if he helped, he'd be doing an illegal treatment and he could lose his job for this. Obviously, he didn't want that to happen. Feeling angry and betrayed, his friend threaten to harm his wife and baby after knowing that Hyungsik's wife was pregnant.

At the very same moment, Hyungsik's wife, Minyoung was next to him and heard everything. She began to panicked and felt stressed out. A moment later, she was screaming in pain, breathing hardly as she gave birth to her first child, Kim Hyerin. An hour later, she gave birth again to Hyerin's twin, Kim Minhye. A few weeks later after the birth of the Kim twins the mafia's son was healed, the mafia sent a threatening letter to Hyungsik stating that if one day both his wife and children died, he has no one to blame but himself. Panic filled up Hyungsik's mind as he immediately booked four plane tickets to Manhattan, New York City. They stayed there for a few years and kept low profiles so that no one will know their background.

When both of the twins were 14, they request to return to their hometown. Hyungsik knew he couldn't return because his friend, the mafia might still be looking for him. Therefore, he sent only both of his daughters back to Seoul. But this time, they stayed in Seoul with their relatives instead of their own home in Gangnam. A year later, Minhye was scouted by SM Entertainment during their school's talent show competition. And many outsiders are allowed to watch. Both founders of SM Ent and YG Ent came to look for trainees since they know there would definitely be some talented people. Minhye took part in it with her twin. Hyerin danced but Minhye did a collaboration with two other classmates and performed a song called, 'Words that freeze my heart'. She even composed the rap herself! She was one of the winners and after she got off stage, Lee Soo Man, the founder of SM Entertainment approached her and praised her for that wonderful performance earlier. After that, he asked if she was interested in becoming a trainee at SM Entertainment. And what's her answer? It's a yes, for sure.

She needs to wake up ealy and go to bed late, this cause her to have a hard time as she usually sleeps early. She practiced almost every day in order to be perfect in any skills. Thanks to her twin, her training is much more easier as she learned the basic dance movement from her. However, she trainned herself hard for vocal and even improved rapping skills. Luck is on her side as she get a good trainer. Although the training years are hard, she made through it by reminding herself about her dream in becoming an idol.
