​Personality: She is smart, talkative and happy girl. People around her comfortable with her because of her bright personality. Her type is not get mad easily, but when people say anything bad about her family, her friends or even herself, she will stand out for them. Background : Nanie was born in Busan but after she was 13, her family decided to move to Korea because of Nanie's father business matter. She has a younger brother that currently become a trainee of a entertainment company. Since she was in high school, Nanie started singing and dancing at her school festival and  got many compliments after that. Because of that, she dreamt to perform at the big stage and entertain people with her performance. Moreover, she discovered her talent in composing music after that and when she was 16, she goes to audition at Woolim and become a trainee there.

​How Do You Get Into WOOLIM?: She goes to the annual Woolim audition day and go audition there. At that time, she sings her own song and shows her dancing skills.

Trainee Life: Nanie find it hard because she doesn't get used to the scheduled trainee life and also she doesn't have much singing technic that was needed by the instructor. She also got detention sometimes because she doesn't reach their expectation. Hoya was the one that always comforted her although they were not really close. Hoya always helping his juniors and Nanie was not the exception.
