Personality: Overall, she's the type that seems anti-social and quiet at first, but once you get closer to her, she's the cutesy, energetic type. Rayne does get really moody and bi-polar, she can go from hyper and smiley to tired and easily irritated.

On-Screen: She does unintentional aegyo a lot, appears as the energy pill in the group to fans, and is extremely open-minded/understanding of all her/the group's fans. Rayne's easily flustered and a klutz when she's tired on-screen.

Off-Screen: Quiet and tired all the time when she's at the dorm or away from fans/paparazzi. Due to her bi-polar personality, there are times when she's complimenting you and a few minutes later she gets easily irritated. Everyone around her has learned not to disturb her when she's tired though.

Background:
Rayne was born in Taipei Taiwan to a German mother and a Taiwanese father. She learned Cantonese and German once she was able to talk. During her school years, she participated in every music opportunity possible {Orchestra, Chorus, Band, Musical, Honors, Dance Team, etc.) and even Track and Field because she loved (still loves) high jump.
When she turned 16, her family moved to Seoul. Luckily, her two best friends and their families also moved with them so, they ended up being neighbors in Seoul. Her best friends continued high school with difficulty because they weren't fluent in Korean (Except for Darren who's Korean), but they managed to make it to senior year. During this time, the trio formed a dance group (CLZ) that often held dance classes and performed at many events in Seoul.

How Did You Meet?/How Do You Want To Meet?: They met as trainees with Taemin being the sunbae trainee. They were paired together a few times during practices and naturally became friends.

How Did You Meet?: They met in the Woollim Ent. building when Rayne went over to help with Sunggyu's '60 Sec.' MV (Band Ver.).
They passed by each other, her beloved red guitar on her back, and Soojung decided to talk to her. They became friends after Soojung watched the filming.

How Do You Treat Each Other?: They're good friends with each other and often go shopping with each other or to the movies.

 

How do you want your love story to unfold:
Taemin; They go out to the movies with their band members who don't show up on purpose. They end up watching the movie together and then going to the park because it was getting dark. There, Rayne starts singing, Taemin joins in, they start dancing while singing, and then fall onto the grass in a fit of laughter. Just as the sun sets, Taemin confesses. (And, of course, Rayne gets flustered but responds with the same feelings)

Baby Soul; Rayne calls Soojung (Baby Soul) to hang out with her because everyone had a busy schedule except her. Soojung goes over to the dorm and they end up watching disney movies. It starts to get dark and Rayne falls asleep on Soojung's shoulder. Soojung looks down to see her crush (Rayne) sleeping and leans in, brushing her lips on Rayne's forehead while saying a small confession. Rayne ends up opening her eyes during that, hearing her confession, and smiling at Soojung, responding with the same feelings.

How was your trainee life?: Fun! She made lots of new friends and made lots of cameos on the 3 top broadcasting networks before her debut. She also became friends with a few Sunbaes who already debuted.

Pre-Debut Info: Played guitar in Sunggyu's '60 Sec' MV and Miryo's 'Dirty' (Rock Ver.), Made cameos in Dream High, You're Beautiful, and Reply 1997.
