She used to be a bright, happy-go-lucky girl who was really friendly, even to a stranger that she just met. But after what happened to her, she changed into a totally different person. She's really quiet and only talk when it's necessary. She's really good at hiding her emotion and only shows her inner feelings to her best friends since high school, Eunji and Sunyoung. In front of Eunji and Sunyoung, she can be herself and doesn't need to care about other's opinion about herself and her behaviour. Because they really understand her and accept her as the way she is.

Actually, she's really kind, motherly, and funny. When she's with Eunji and Sunyoung, Eunjung always babying them (even though she's the youngest of the three according their birthday) with patting their head and scolds them when they tries to steal the foods that she just made, because she's the only one who can cook in between the three of them. She's also a crybaby who will cry even just because she's watching an angst movie or just a sad scene in a movie. She cares a lot with her closest friends and treasures them deeply. She's really forgivable person, when her closest person makes mistakes to her, she will forgive them easily. She will be a very selfless person when she's with someone that she loves. She will do anything to make her loved one happy and stay with her.

People ought to see her as a cold person and a loner, because she rarely smile and she likes to be alone when she's in a crowd, prefer to busying herself with her iPod or cellphone than strikes a conversation with others. That's why she finds it hard to find a new friends. It's not like she doesn't like them, she just scared that they will talk down about her, because she cares a lot with people opinion about her even though she never shows it. She's also pretty stubborn, and competitive. She also gets jealous easily, clumsy, forgetful, and a little bit naive.

She was born in a wealthy family and her parents spoils her so much because she's the only daughter in the family. Her life in Seattle was perfect. She was a straight-A student, she had a lots of friends, her parents love her so much, her life was perfect. But when her father died because of heart attack Eunjung and her mother was really sad, and finally they moved to Gwangju (her mother's hometown) because her mother couldn't stand living in the house without remembering everything about her late father. They lived there until Eunjung asked her mother to moved in Seoul because in her opinion, education is Seoul was much better than in Gwangju. Finally, after her high school graduation, her mother bought her an apartment and also gave her a car before she moved back to Gwangju to take care of Eunjung's grandmother who was sick. She lives alone in Seoul until now.

Even though her family is rich and always send her money every week, Eunjung only use her money to pay for her rent and her school tuition. She use her salary from working to buy her needs and stuffs. She almost never use public transportation because she has her own car. She's working on a coffee shop near her university called Cafetera. She lives alone in an apartment that her mother bought for her as her graduation present.

Park Chanyeol is the kind of guy who Eunjung avoids the most. He's too noisy and too bright in her opinion. He's really friendly, even to a strangers. His personality somehow reminds Eunjung of her old self, that's why somehow, she looks like avoiding Chanyeol but the truth is she just doesn't want to remember her old self. He's the happy-go-lucky happy virus who always smile and cracks jokes anytime. He also has a deep passion is music and can play guitar, drum, bass, and djembe (African drum). Everyone like his upbeat personality and kindness toward others. He's also have a great sense, he knows when to be serious, and he also knows how to light up the atmosphere. He's so unpredictable and adventurous. Nobody know what he will do next. He's also a very romantic guy who loves to make surprise to the girl that he loves. Even though it's just a simple surprise like a song that he wrote and composed by himself, or make a surprise visit at night with calling the girl and tells her that he's already in front of her house and stuffs.

He's very persistent and also stubborn. When he likes something, he will 'obsessed' to it for weeks or months. He's also very blunt, he will tells you when he hates something or your negative point right away whether you like it or not, he wouldn't care about that. Because he believes that it's better to tell you right away your bad points so you can change than talking bad behind your back.

Chanyeol is Eunjung's senior and Eunjung is already famous in her college for her cold exterior. The first time Eunjung knew Chanyeol's existence was when Eunjung came to the wrong class and saw Chanyeol was tunning his guitar. She keep standing on the doorframe and watching the tall boy who was in his own world. She didn't realize when she was smilling as she saw the happy but serious expression that plastered on Chanyeol's face when he's playing his guitar and she could say that he really loves music. He was surprised when he finally realized that someone was watching him for a long time and he smiled. Eunjung could swear, it was the brightest smile she ever seen but she had to admit it that it was beautiful. He greeted her first and asked her to come in. Chanyeol asked what she was doing at the door and she explained that she came to the wrong class and she came to early so she has nothing to do. Chanyeol smiled and told her to stay. When Chanyeol was busy practicing, Eunjung spotted a grand piano at the corner of the room and she walked onto it, she sat down and started to play a random note. She was surprised when Chanyeol was already right behind her and gave her an applause, saying that she was really good. She smiled and thanked him. They parted after they playing a few songs together but promised that they'll meet again tomorrow at the same time.

Since then, Eunjung always come early to Chanyeol's class just to watch Chanyeol playing his guitar and Chanyeol is really happy to know that he could make the ice princess melt down her ice mask and gives him her warm smile.

〈 He would try to take away my pain〉 Chanyeol and Eunjung are student in Kyunghee University majoring in Instrumental Music with Chanyeol is her senior by a year. At her school, Eunjung is already famous for being an ice-princess who always gives cold looks to others. She looked like didn't care to others but the truth is she really care about their opinion about her. And she's really sad when they labelled her as an ice princess, but she couldn't do anything about that. After their first encounter when Eunjung came to Chanyeol's class accidentally and their promise to keep seeing each other on the next day, they getting closer by keep seeing each other almost everyday. Even though Eunjung always tried to pulled herself from Chanyeol, somehow she always ended up stick up together again.

〈 And he just might make me smile〉 With Chanyeol she could feel more ease, free, and she could be herself again. Which what scared her the most. She almost never cried in front of Chanyeol, always pretending that she's okay. Chanyeol always know about that, but he pretends that he didn't and just try to make her smile again. Because Chanyeol really likes her smile. And when the first time she smiled at him, he was screamed and keep mumbling "You're smiling! You're smiling!" over and over again because he was shocked. That he could make the ice princess smile. And he found out that she looks prettier when smilling.

〈 But the whole time I'm wishing he was you instead〉 Eunjung really feels comfortable with Chanyeol. His positive attitudes really brings her back slowly to her old bubbly self. She smiles a lot, talks more and also looks happier. But something always bothering her. She couldn't help to always comparing Chanyeol to Zitao. From the way he walked, his skin color, his features, his habbits, his voice, his smile, everything. Chanyeol seems didn't mind when what Eunjung tells him was just about Zitao. How Zitao likes to do aegyo to persuades her, about Zitao who can do wushu, Zitao who will speaks in Chinese when he's mad, Zitao this, Zitao that. Chanyeol just gives her his smile and asks her to continue her stories about Zitao. That's why she's really surprise when Chanyeol confess to her. Deep inside her heart, she knows that she's hoping that it's Zitao who says that to her—that he wants her again.

〈 You and I walk a fragile line, I have known it all this time   〉 Zitao and Eunjung was met at their high school when Zitao came to Korea as a transfer student from Qingdao, China. At first, they only started as a friend, Eunjung was just being kind to him because he was new and his Korean wasn't really good so she just wanted to help him settled down in Korea. But after many chats, phone calls, messages, she finally realized that she was in love with the new student. Everybody but them was already realized about their feelings, and already thought that they were dating even though they weren't. At their sixth date at the park, Zitao finally confessed to her and Eunjung was beyond happy to accept it. Even though there's too many difference between them and Zitao's demanding and bossy personality didn't make them least happy. She was very happy because Zitao was really sweet to her. He was just like the perfect boyfriend like those romance novel potrayed and described. He was the perfect first-love that Eunjung wanted in her life.

〈 And I can't trust anything now; And it's coming over you like it's all a big mistake 〉 Of course their relationship wasn't always being lovey dovey all the time. They argued all the time over small things, mostly because of Zitao and his temper (even though Eunjung already said that is was her fault so their arguments wont last long, but still both of them were really stubborn) which usually ended up with crying Eunjung and a silent treatment from Eunjung for days. They always made up with apologizing to each other's mistakes after those 'silent-treatment' days, being lovey-dovey all over again. And sometimes Eunjung cried at nights because Zitao was too controlling her life. Asked her to do this and that, forbid her to do this and that. Until sometimes she thinks that Zitao didn't love her for who she really was.

〈 You're all I wanted; Come on, come on, don't leave me like this 〉 But who knows that in their 10 months relationship, Zitao was already cheating on her back for 3 months long with another girl? Her middle school friend who was the daughter of Zitao's father friend in Korea to be exact. Eunjung was oblivious with this because she was having too much faith on Zitao and she only kept her curiousity towards Zitao to herself, she didn't even tell her best-friend about this. Because she didn't want everyone think that she didn't even trust her own boyfriend. Zitao himself was like usual, the sweet and caring boyfriend who always be there for Eunjung. Until one day, Zitao broke up with her with the cliché reason "you're too good for me, I don't think I can give you more than what you gave to me.". Eunjung was broken, who knows that her first love would left her with that kind of reason? And when she finally found out about Zitao's encounter with another girl, Eunjung was beyond devastated.

〈 Can't breathe whenever you're gone; Can't turn back now, I'm haunted 〉 Everybody said that she was a fool for keep loving and waiting for years for Zitao to come back to her. What else she can do? People says "First love last forever". And that's what exactly happened to her. She knew what Zitao did to her was wrong but she couldn't find herself to hate Zitao after all he had done to Eunjung. Everything that she done always reminds her of her memories with Zitao. When she wants to try to wear high heels, she remembers how Zitao always scolded her because he hates it when Eunjung was using her high heels. When she's cooking, she always remembers that Zito hates onion and seafood so she always minched the onion and slices the seafood in a small piece even though it's only her who eats it. When she's sick, she remembers how Zitao took care of her with staying all night. When she starts speaking in English, she remembers how Zitao always scolds her because he couldn't understand English and he always asked Eunjung to help him with his English tasks. When she's daydreaming, she remembers all of the sweet things that they did together. Those movie dates, those kisses, those late night walks, those jokes, those fights. She couldn't get them out from her head and she couldn't get back to her old self again.

1. How was their relationship before? How did it change? Why did it change? Who changed?

Eunjung relationship with Zitao was just perfect for her. She was madly in love with Zitao, vice versa. But finally they reached the point when Eunjung started to lose her trust to her boyfriend and they keep arguing all the time. Until it reach the point when Zitao broke up with her, she was really sad but what makes her broken was when she finally found out that Zitao has been cheating on her back with her middle school friend.

2. How/where does she meet this new person? Does he decide to stick with her or does his decision falter before he finally chooses?

So one day, he asked her out so he could know the reason behind it. But the walks didn't end well because the atmosphere was really awkward. But Yifan didn't give up and they keep talking to each other and she finally feels comfortable around him. One day, Yifan accidentally saw Eunjung with her two best friend. And Yifan was surprised when he saw Eunjung smiling. Not the kind of smile that she always gave to him, it was a sincere smile. And when finally Yifan knew the reason she was being cold toward others, Yifan promised to her that he will makes her smile again.
