I've been seeing the same ad on the side of my AFF screen for the past ten page flips and I'm starting to get sick of it. ._.

But I have a meaningful question.

Is it OK to advertise your stories here on AFF?

I mean, it may sound like a child-ish or naive question... but is it?

I've seen stories get "big" from not having advertised.

Buuutttt... I've seen stories get huge from advertising.

Like, you aren't forcing the person to click the link when you advertise,

So they are basically going by their own merit when/if they do click/read/bookmark/subscribe/up-vote.

Although, I feel like ads may be annoying and others would rather having gone their own way to find your story...? 

Maybe I'm putting too much random faith into one story reader.

Maybe they don't like to feel like they've found a diamond in the rough when stalking the tags.

Maybe.

But my question still stands.

Is it OK to advertise your stories?

From a personal point, of course.
