〈 It’s All About You 〉
Personality: DeJin is quiet yet very sweet boy. He isn't very sociable and rather avoids people because he doesn't know how other people will react to the fact that he is blind. DeJin loves skin ship and it has nothing to do with him being blind. He simply loves to feel the warmth of other person, to know that he isn't alone and that there is somebody he can lean on or hold on. He loves back-hugs the most, they make him feel safe and secure. Althought DeJin loves skin ship, because of the fact that he hates crowdy people and meeting new people, the only person who does skin ship with him is his best friend. DeJin hates being alone, he rather stays were he knows for sure there are a lot of people, although he always is in the corner. DeJin hates when other people are nice to him out of pity so he doesn't trust other people. DeJin doesn't believe that other people feelings and kindness towards him is real and thinks it is only a pity show. DeJin hates rain and is very petrified of thunder storms. He would always crawl to the corner, pull his knees close to his chest and press his palms against his ears and cry. DeJin loves listening to music. He hates animals. He is super scared of dogs and he doesn't have a helper dog which is always given to blind people. DeJin is used to feeling lonely, but it doesn't mean he likes it. He hates it actually. He wishes there would be somebody who would like him for himself and not out of pity. He wished there would be somebody who could understand the real him and protect him.
Background: DeJin was born in USA and on the day he was born, doctors told his parents that he is blind. there was nothing he could do about it. His parents sent him to many different schools because of this fact but he learned to deal with it. DeJin is a single child but he has a older cousin who treats him like a little brother and is super protective of him. The reason for his cousin, Kwon Jiyoung (GD), being so overprotective of DeJin is because Jiyoung had a younger sister who was also blind but in the end committed suicide because of the bullying. DeJin moved to Seoul because he hated being around his parents, who always pitied him. DeJin moved in to live with his cousin, Jiyoung, who was more than happy to take him in. Because DeJin was super smart, he was able to get in SongChul. There was actually a special class for smart kids who were blind. DeJin there met his best friend, Huang ZiTao, who tought DeJin chinese. DeJin and Tao met on accident, when DeJin was accidently pushed by one of the other students and he fell down the stairs, only to land on Tao, who immediately thought that DeJin looked like small black teddy bear. They became best friends ever since and when Tao found out that DeJin loves skin ship, all hell broke lose. Tao always hugged DeJin and i mean every day, every time they met and in front of everyone, even Tao's own boyfriend, who wasn't mad at Tao. Tao's boyfriend, Kris, was understanding and also protective of DeJin. You could say that Tao treated DeJin like he would be his mom and Kris treated him like he was his dad. DeJin liked Tao and Kris and he was happy that he had that kind of friends, but he always was insecure and had this little voice in him yelling that they were like that because they pitied him.

Fears: Thunger storms: The reason why he is so scred of these storms is becasue when he was going to middle school, still in USA, there were people who broke in the kidnergarden and started shooting everybody. DeJin his in the small gap between wall and the bookshelf. at that time, when those people were shooting at everyone, there was thunder storm and they were laughing, making DeJin fear thunder storms forever. (i know it sound sunrealistic but it is true. While i lived in USA for three years when i was in middle school, and similar event happened in my school were i was studying)
DeJin is scared of dogs because he was bitten when he was around ten
Habits: Whenever there is a thunder strom He would always crawl to the corner, pull his knees close to his chest and press his palms against his ears and cry.
When somebody tries to help DeJin, moslty because of pity, DeJin pushes that person away and tells that person stay away because he can do it himself and that he doesn't need help.
Trivia: DeJin has never been in love. He doesn't want to love anybody because he thinks that other person would only love him out of pity.
DeJin has a scar on his right shoulder blade because of small fall when he was a kid.
DeJin is afraid of any kind of animal.
