Background: I was born in Kyoto, Japan to a Korean businessman and Japanese housewife. We moved to Seoul when I was 6 years old because my father was trasnferred there. We lived a normal life. I went to school, got good grades, was obedient, and never got in trouble while my father went to work and my mother stayed at home. As I hit my teenage years, I started getting more attention from boys and eventually got myself a boyfriend. 

Then when I was 15, we went to Shanghai as a birthday present for my mother. They left me at the hotel, so that the two could have a intimate dinner together. I waited for them to come back, but they didn't return. It wasn't until the next day when I received a knock on my door by the police, telling me that my parents were killed by an incoming car. They processed my paperwork and sent me back to Seoul, straight into an orphanage. In the long months that I was stuck at the orphange, I started turning distant with people. Looking at the other orphans and the condition that we were in, I realized that life was cruel, and I started turning cynical about the world. I started sneaking out a lot, my grades started slipping, I started hanging out with bad people, I started to snap and talk back at people. My boyfriend had broken up with me, though I couldn't care less; now that my parents were dead, so were my feelings. 

Then one day, a rich business family came to the orphanage, looking to buy the land out, and they saw me. They decided to adopt me because a pretty face like mine as their daughter would look good for business and the public. They fed me, they clothed me, sent me to top schools, gave me private tutors, and molded me into their picture of the perfect daughter. And I resented them for it. The dresses, the makeup, the dinner parties, listening to rich people complain about their $5000 purse, the lies, the corruption, it all made me even more cynical and bitter about life and people. I started rebelling a lot more, and I started to get a reputation of a troublemaker at school and in the tabloids.

Why Shanghai: My adopted family reprimanded me for being such a burden and threatened to send me to boarding school in the U.S. I packed up my necessities, withdrew as much money as I could, and ran away. I wanted to go somewhere where no one knew who I was, and I didn't know them. I wanted a fresh start. Shanghai was the last city that my parents saw.

  Personality: I am a cold person. I don't care what others think, and I do what I want without thinking about the consequences, which causes everyone around me to think of me as a rebellious burden on society. I have a sharp tongue, am quite stubborn, and very blunt. I am quite intelligent actually, but I never try in school (try at ANYTHING really). I like to fight with people and am not afraid to get physical. I love to sing and listen to music. It’s one of the only time I feel happy. But good luck trying to get me to crack a smile. I never show my emotions other than an indifferent stare or a cocky smirk. Due to my wealth and intriguing beauty, I'm widely pursued by many men, but I hate most people I meet, especially men.
