Wuthering Heights

is Wuthering Heights a good book?

many people have been saying that it's good. even the lady at the bookstore said it was.

i've read a little bit of it and it's not that interesting yet.

i guess it depends on taste but i wanna hear some more opinions. either way i have to read it for a project but i want to know. haha.

I think it's decent LMAO. Read it in fourth grade when I was bored >.< I think it was pretty good but it really depends on your reading style.

Well there's a reason why it's under classic lit. Most people find it boring because of the way it was constructed. It's a good starting point for reading though. Most people would find it boring, but I think it's because we live in an age where everything is driven fast forward. Reading a book requires active thinking which is a leap form watching a movie or TV which is more passive. That's really why reading in general is hard- at least material that is beyond fanfic levels.

I read it my sophomore year of high school and I hated it while everyone else in the class love the "classic" book. Pftt whatever...it was boring. The only thing I liked about it were the descriptions of the scenery. I'm a visual person so I found it nice but that's about it. The characters bored me as well as the plot -______- Hopefully you'll have a better reading experience than me X3

I found it an incredibly boring book because the plot moved REALLY slowly. So I'm not really a fan of the book - I much prefer Jane Austen...
I only got up to page 100 before I gave up on it >.> Although all my friends said they really liked it :/
