OH MY GOD I JUST GOT HOME FROM THE CONCERT AND IN THE 19 YEARS OF MY LIFE, I’VE EXPERIENCED TIMES WHEN I WAS SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY I WANTED TO CRY BUT THIS TIME, I ACTUALLY CRIED!!! I’M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!! THANK YOU, GOD FOR HELPING ME. NEVER WOULD HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP.

MY SEAT WAS AT THE CENTER!!! IT WAS LIKE 12 SEATS AWAY FROM THE STAGE AND I COULD SEE THEM CLEARLY. (OH, AND PLEASE EXCUSE MY CAPS LOCKING. I’M JUST OVERFLOWING WITH EMOTIONS, I CAN’T JUST WRITE THIS DOWN WITH SMALL CHARACTERS.)

AND OH MY GOSH ‘TASTY’ WAS THE OPENING PERFORMANCE AND OHADADJKSAKDHSAJKDHSKJ I CAN’T EVEN—-

AND THEY SANG 24 SONGS!!! AND THEY PERFORMED THE ‘INFINITE BAND’ AND I WAS LIKE, “OH MY GOSH, I ONLY SEE THOSE IN FAN CAMS FROM KOREA!!!” AND I SAW THEM IN FLESH AND I SAW THE SCORPION DANCE PERSONALLY AND THE 100% SYNCHRONIZATION AND THOSE BEAUTIFUL VOICES AND OH MY GOSH THEY SANG ALL THE SONGS I WANTED THEM TO SING!!! I AM SO SATISFIED WITH MY LIFE NOW, I COULD DIE.

AND THEN THERE WAS A TIME WHEN THEY WERE RIDING A MOVING… ERR… STAGE AND THEY PASSED BY THE SIDES AND I GOT SO IMPATIENT, I JUMPED FROM MY SEAT AND RAN TO WHERE THEY WERE AND WENT “OPPPPPPAAAAAAAAA!!!!”

OKAY. Time to be calm (or at least I’ll try to be) and recall everything from the beginning.

I was at B4 Block in the arena section. It is the block nearest to the stage and at the most center.

Okay, the seating arrangement in the arena section was like this:

Or something like that. INFINITE performed at the space in front of B4.

From top view, the Yoyogi Stadium is like THIS. The seating arrangement in the arena section isn’t shown in the link so refer to the picture above.

I don’t have pics during the performances because it was prohibited to take pictures or video during the concert. If you see fancams from that day, those fans were brave. I applaud them. And even if I did try to video them, it would be lame because I have a lame camera and lame photography skills.

The concert started at 7pm. And when the lights dimmed, everyone stood up (I’m so glad I wore high heels) and then I heard a familiar tune but it’s not any of Infinite’s songs. I was like, “I know this… ‘YOU KNOW ME’ by Tasty!” and the screen showed Tasty’s logo and oh my gosh I went crazy! I was like, “Oppa!!! My Soryong and Daeryong oppa!!! Ahmaygaaaash!!!” And after the dance, they talked in cute Japanese and oh my gosh it’s so cute when they try to talk Japanese.

And finally, INFINITE!!!

When they appeared, the first one I saw was Sunggyu. Well, for one, he was at the center. And second, his red hair stands out. And then there was this familiar and nostalgic tune and they started singing “Dashi Dorawa” and I was like, “This is it!!! This is sooooo it!!!” And I wanted to cry!!! Oh my gosh I was so happy seeing them live! Oh my gosh, the rappers!!! *dies*

Following “Dashi Dorawa” was “Hysterie” oh my gosh I was like, “They’re singing everything I want them to sing! I hope they sing ‘I Like You’ and ‘In the Summer.’” With just the first tunes of “Hysterie,” my heart was already doing somersaults as if it hadn’t yet.

After those two songs, they talked for a while. They introduced themselves and Woohyun was throwing hearts and Dongwoo was being his dorky self and LOL at Sunggyu. Everyone was saying something energetic but Sunggyu was so awkward but so adorable and he looked like he was embarrassed with what he was saying. I’ll talk about more of what they said and did during the times when they were speaking and not performing. For now, let me recount the performances they did.

Next was ‘Tic Toc’ and I had been dying to hear Sunggyu’s parts in that song. Well, I wanted to hear everyone’s parts in EVERY song but in this song, Sunggyu’s “Nal bwa bwa sashireun na neomu duryeoweo~” was the part that always makes my heart soar. And I was singing with every song, feeling like I was singing WITH them. Like a duet (except that it’s an eight-people, me included, performance).

And then next was “Nalgae” (Wings). This one has a very special meaning for me because I wrote a fic with one of this song’s lines as a prompt. Oh, and have I told you guys that Hoya looked awesome-r live when he dances?!? He was sooooooo good! Deserves the “dancing machine” title! *claps* During the times when the lights are a bit dim and you can only see silhouettes, you’ll never miss Hoya because you know how he moves. He was… a god, I tell you. HOGOD!

Then there was a video of their parody of “Shut Up! Flower Boy Band.” It was so adorable. I’ll talk more about this later. 

And then oh my god!!! Next song was “Fixed Star” and I loved it so much!!! This song is like the sweetest breakup song. There was a line saying, “I’m sorry, but can I erase you from my heart?” If someone were to say that to me, it’d be the sweetest goodbye I’d ever experience. It’s like, he doesn’t want to erase me from his heart and he’s asking permission and I still have control of him, after all. It’s just too sweet.

Next was “Voice of My Heart” and all the sad fics I’ve always thought of flowed into my mind. It was like a replay of all the fics and heartaches I thought of because of Infinite. And then there was the Sunggyu and Woohyun duet part. Kyaaaa~

Every two songs, they stop performing and talk or show a video of their parody of SUFBB.

Next was oh my gosh, wait for it… INFINITE H!!! You saw those korean fan cams of their Second Invasion in Korea where Dongwoo and Hoya sang “Without You?” They performed that!!! And I was like, “please perform the INFINITE BAND!!!” Dongwoo’s intense rapping and when he was singing, the husky voice and Hoya’s cool rapping and the sweet voice. Oh gods.

And the next thing we saw was Sunggyu with a piano, and he sang “Only Tears!!!” In Japanese!!! *fans self* and oh my gosh could a voice be even more beautiful? It was perfection!!! I remembered the graphics I made for this song. Yes, every song has a special memory and  special meaning attached to it. I love all their songs, I love their personalities, I just love everything about Infinite!!! And the “I’m missing you~” part was enough to make my heart melt.

And break again.

Next was oh my gosh this is it, “Before the Dawn”!!!  Well, they sang it in Japanese. Had they sung it in Korean, I would have been happier. I don’t know why. LOL. Oh my gosh the hard breathing part oh my gosh, I was ready to fly to the stage and hug each of them. Oh, and the perfect synchronization never faded!!! And finally, GAAAAH!!! The scorpion dance move! I was like, I saw it!!! Personally saw it!!! With my own two eyes!!! Not on screen but in the flesh!!! GAAAAAAAAAAH!!! And Woohyun’s voice was so… full, I can’t contain it in my heart!

Okay, now this is one of the fan-girl-good- part. They sang “Paradise” and… THEY WERE WEARING ONLY BLACK WIFE BEATERS!!! Freaking y, I tell you. And, well, I tend to look at idols’ armpits so… yeah, I wanted to see personally their armpits (gods, lol. but what can i say? i find them y~) and I was like oh my goshhhhhhh!!! And the hip-ing!!! Gods, It was smexy as hell!!! And they walked closer to the stage and I just want to die!!! LOL. I want to touch those biceps and well, Sungjong doesn’t have any. LOL. But in person, he looked manly and adorable. Like the type you’d hug and cuddle because of its cuteness! Oh my gosh!

After that was Woohyun’s solo. He sang “Time” in Japanese. Oh my gosh when he hit that high note and held it for a few seconds, everyone was like “That. Was. Awesome.” And he looked like crying, it was moving! Aww, Namstar, lemme hug you, dear.

Next was… OH GOD I WAS SO HAPPY BECAUSE OF THIS. Next was… *drumrolls* INFINITE BAND!!! I only see those in fancams!!! And I watched them over and over that I’ve memorized the tune and I know when “The Chaser” tune would come out and gaaahd. Sungyeol playing the drums, Sungjong playing the keyboard, Dongwoo playing the bass, and L playing the guitar! In the korean fancams, I see L being serious with his guitar-playing and, yes, he was so focused into it!!! And then he WINKED!!! HE WINKED!!! He stuck his tongue out for a while and GODSSS that was smexy!!! And Dongwoo was being the kid that he is and Sungyeol being the choding that he is (smiling so happily), and Sungjong was just adorably playing his instrument.

Next was One Third and the line saying, “Hey you fool, how can I live without you?” and I can’t live without you, too! No matter how much fools you are. And gaaahd those dance moves!!!

And then they sang “Molla” and the lines saying, “I don’t know, I don’t know anything such as your heart. I don’t know, I know only my heart. I hope and hope” and “Even if you push me away, I’ll still approach you” like a persistent handsome stalker and oh my gosh if my stalker were like this oh god, take meeeeeh.

The fifteenth song was “In the Summer”! It made me so happy! I am in love with this song. I am in love with all their songs but this song has a refreshing feel and like I just want summer to come and make me fall in love. I want love during summer. LOL whutamisaying?!? And the chorus!!!

Before the album INFINITIZE came out, in the OVER THE TOP album, there was a bonus track and it was a part of “In the Summer” and I loved that bonus track so much so when I heard the full version in the album, I was spazzing like hell!!! The bonus track was better, though. I mean, because it’s short and all the members sang a bit of lines and it’s like you can hear all of their voices, compressed, in a song, with equal parts. And it keeps you wanting for more.

Next was the song that just makes me want to cry while smiling and oh my gosh, it’s so energetically sweet like nectar and honey, like bathing in the sun, like running in the fields of soft grass, like oh my gosh. They were still sitting (they were also sitting while singing “In the Summer”). “Nan oh oh nan niga jeotda~” I like you so much, too, INFINITE. Yup, they sang, “I Like You,” too! And Dongwoo’s rap. And Sungjong’s sweet voice. It was angelic. I wish Hoya had more lines.  And whenever Woohyun sings his lines here, it was so boyishly cute. Like puppy-love-like voice. I don’t know. LOL. There was also a time when L was looking at the screen behind him, watching who appears in the screen. When it showed him looking at the screen, he looked at the camera and hid his face behind his hands. SO cute. Haha.

And then they performed the Japanese version of “She’s Back.” Oh, my. A lot of memories were flowing into me that time. Few hours before the concert, I was fan girling my heartsss out and I watched She’s Back PV over and over… and over. That was how I prepared for the concert. LOL. And I was dancing with them with my hand and oh my gosh I kept on jumping like crazy because I was so happy. Can you tell?

And oh my gosh at the first beat, I knew right away what song was next. COVER GIRL!!! I remembered… the game Harvest Moon. LOL. Because I always listened to Cover Girl when I play Harvest Moon. LOL. I couldn’t help singing along with every line! Oh my gosh, Sungjong was too cute, I wanted to put him in a jarrrr!!! And they looked like happy little boys, jumping around the stage. I think it was in this song when Hoya threw a towel to the audience towards the first floor (not the arena) sides. So lucky, that fan who got the towel.

Then, “Matgyeo” (Entrust). I remember the time when I was sitting in my room, brewing a fic in my mind. This was the first Infinite song that I wrote a fic with. I remember the time when I still had a bias. Back then, my bias was Sungyeol. Ah, I remember how my bias kept on changing and pretty soon, I found myself not having a bias anymore because I already love all of them. I love all of them equally and I love them all with all my heart.

Okay, next was “Nothing’s Over.” I remember when they released the MV, I immediately watched it and was spazzing like hell even though it looked like a low-budget MV. LOL. But I loved it all the same. I also remember Woohyun singing something based from this song. He sang it on his BTS in “White Confession” MV. “Gajimaaaa~ ttanom manamyeon jugeo. Andwae, andwae~ <3 (Don’t go~ If you meet others, I’ll kill you~ You can’t you can’t~)” Or something like that. LOL. So cute the Namwustargreasyheartsywoohyun. And Dongwoo’s “I think about you. All day long.” line!!! >///< I kept on dancing they were so adorkable!!!

Then they talked about sorts of stuff. In Japanese. LOL. Okay, this is the part where I’ll put all the stuff they did during their not-performing states. LOL. The boys were so cute trying to talk in Japanese. There was a time when they were giving speeches and there was a touching background music and Sunggyu was the first to talk and he smoothly said what he wanted to say. Next was Dongwoo. Now Dinowoo’s turn was adorable. He kept on forgetting his lines!!! He was like, “Kyou, isshouni… Kyou isshouni? Uhhh… Kyou…” and it took a while before he finished remembering what to say! Next was Woohyun. I didn’t know whether to take him seriously or not. LOL. Because the background was sad, and he was speaking a little too slowly as if deliberately speaking slowly so his brain could process what he was going to say next. Nice strategy, though. Then, I think Sungyeol was next. He did great at his speech and then next was L. I thought L would mess up because before each one said their speeches, L was like, “I can’t speak well!” and choding was like, “Try to speak!” and L spoke and after finishing, he awkwardly laughed and laughed so hard, he turned away! So cute!!! Then, Hoya’s turn. Hoya was so adorable!!! I got to participate in the I say “ho” you say “ya” thing he always does. Hoya spoke a lot. So damn adorable. Next was Sungjong. Everytime our maknae speaks, it was like the voice at the train station, announcing the next stations. Well for one, it was like a girl’s. Two, the tone was something like that. Haha. Three, it was good so it sounded like an announcer. I don’t know. LOL. I remember Sungyeol making fun of Sungjong’s tone. Haha. Like how his voice rose up at the end. And I also remember a time when Hoya and Woohyun was talking and Hoya’s korean accent was showing. Like the curly accent at the end of the sentence. Haha. Then Hoya said, “minna ni aitakatta! (i wanted to meet all of you!)” and Woohyun was like, “me too! me too!” and showed his aegyeo. Haha. Then they were like “those at the back, can you see us?” and the fans said yes. And they were like “Ahh…” And just laughed awkwardly and leader was staring at them like, “What the are you guys doing? Did I teach you to be that way?!”

Oh, and there was a time when the two rapper hugged each other!!! Kyaaaa! And Woohyun touched Sunggyu’s lips. And Sungyeol and L laughing together. And… maknae was… oh well. Woohyun was a , though. He wiped Dongwoo’s sweat, too! Then Hoya wiped Woohyun’s sweat (or was it Sunggyu’s? Ugh, I can’t remember!) and threw the towel to the arena. Unfortunately, the towel was too light, it didn’t reach the fans.

I loved the part when Woohyun said he thought they weren’t very popular in Japan and I was like, “Are you kidding me?! All of your concert tours were sold out!” Then Sungjong said, “If it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t be here. Thank you very much.” All of them thanked us, Inspirits, for supporting them, telling us they’ll show better music, and become even better in the future. It was really sweet and touching.

Anywaysss… And finally!!! BE MINE Perf!!! The perfect angles, the perfect moves, the smoothness of everything!!! GODSSSS, IT WAS PERFECT! Oh my gosh the intense moves, my heart just exploded!!! Oh my gosh I’m crying again… It’s just that… I was… So so so so so happy. They sang it in Japanese, though. I prefer the Korean version because I’m more used to it. And Hoya’s solo dance part. Oh god. WHAT IS AIR?!?!?!

And following “Be Mine” was “The Chaser”!!! I couldn’t help remembering Ranking King. LOL. And what I especially waited for was Sungyeol’s part. LOL. Because he said he really liked his line. And the part wherein only Sunggyu was standing and the rest were like hit and kneeling. Because Sunggyu said he like that part because the other members’ knees would hurt a bit. LOL. And the slightly higher notes on the chorus part at the nearing end. Especially Woohyun’s higher-note chorus part. The YaDong rap. The intense rap. Oh god. And Sungjong’s balancing voice. And L’s intense looks. I remember the “fasting” I had done during the times that this MV was released. That time, I was away from my precious laptop for 10 days and when they released the MV, I wasn’t there! I felt like I neglected them. T^T

After this song, they said goodbye. Before “Be Mine,” Woohyun already said that it would be the last performance. So when the lights dimmed, everyone was quiet at first. Then, two fan girls a bit behind me where skipping in their places, singing “Dorawa, dorawa, dashi dorawa! Hey! Dorawa, dorawa, dashi dorawa! Hey!” And they energetically repeated that and pretty soon, everyone was chanting those INFINITELY.

Finally, there was another video of the parody of SUFBB. When the video ended, people looked behind. Prolly, those people already watched the previous concerts. Because they already performed in different venues so the other prolly already watched the tours. And Infinite appeared at the back, riding a moving… err… stage. It “rained”  golden balloons with official “Infinite’s Second Invasion Evolution Plus” and a logo written on it. Anyway, they passed by the side and I couldn’t stand just watching from the center, so I jumped from my seat, and ran to the side and was like, “Oppaaaaaa!!!” I saw Sunggyu, Sungjong, and Dongwoo at a close distance. Like, two-arms-length distance. TWO ARMS LENGTH. Had Dongwoo reached for my hand, we could have held hands and ran away and live happily ever after. Dongwoo was so happily spraying something. It was adorable. Sungjong was just laughing, his eyes disappearing. Sungjong was waving hands, throwing something to the audience. On the other side was L, Woohyun, Hoya, and Sungyeol. I didn’t run to that side, I don’t know why. My feet just led me to these three. When they got on the stage, I ran to the front. I stood there, watching them at a closer distance. I know, I wasn’t supposed to, but hey, I’m only doing this once, I don’t care anymore about a single thing in the world aside from Infinite oppas. I left all my stuff on my seat, with my money and everything in there just to watch from that spot. That time, they were singing “With You” and half-way, the attendants, or whatever you call them, told me to go back to my seat.  I innocently said sorry and went back to my seat. LOL.

And then, it was over. The seven bowed from the center, then walked to the side, bowed, walked to the other side, bowed. That time, I swear L looked at me. Say I’m delusional but I swear he looked at me. Straight in the eye. When they walked back to the center and bowed again, I was looking at each members’ faces and L was looking straight at my direction. Swear to heavens, I saw him looking at me. I know he’d probably not remember me anymore after those eye contacts but at least he did. I’m more than happy. He was waving and had that smile/smirk on his face. Then, they left. Ah, I love you, oppas! This is my best night ever. I don’t care if I got home late past the dormitory’s curfew. I just don’t care anymore.

It was the best memory ever. You know the nights I cried when I thought, “Ah, I’ll never see them perform this. They’re too great.” I was just feeling hopeless. I thought of this to be just a dream. To everyone who feels/felt the same, fellow Inspirits, someday, we’ll all watch their concert together, hm? Someday, let’s all reach for them~ And let’s continue supporting them and love them!
