Personality : 
Naryeo is a very quiet and mysterious person. She may seem like a troublemaker and a girl with a great attitude but in fact, Naryeo hates fighting and would avoid any kind of conflict at any cost, even when she knows that she can put up with anyone. It’s just that she holds that cold and disinterested façade because, truth be told, in her heart she’s still just a vulnerable, insecure young girl. She finds it hard to trust people and takes her time opening up to someone because she’s afraid that they’ll leave her when she needs them the most. Therefore, she often acts hard to get and only concentrated herself on minding her own business and doesn’t like much attention on her.
However, only few people have ever witnessed what Naryeo is really like. When someone manages to see through her façade, which is rather hard, they discover a loyal and trustworthy friend who is always there when her friends need her. She’s very mature and independent but knows how to have fun when she feels like it. It may not seem like it at times, but Naryeo is very smart, she just doesn’t like to show off in front of other with how much she knows about anything. Naryeo is very straightforward and honest, with a very sharp tongue and is not afraid to tell the truth into the person’s face. She’s the type of a person who would tell or show a person straight away if they like them or not. However, she only does this for the best, as she hates people faking, ing or picking on her or anyone she cares about. She’s very devoted and passionate when it comes to something she does or loves. Naryeo is the kind of person who believes that she can always do better than she’s already doing. She always tries her best, is always willing to learn more or something new, hates failure or mistakes and always goes hard on herself, often putting others’ wellbeing before her own.
In reality, she cares deeply for those who are important to him and it usually surprises people how easy-going and open-minded Naryeo is. She’s a person who can be talked to about anything and is always there to provide some kind of support to those who need it. People often underestimate Naryeo and they often think she’s selfish and up to herself, therefore they’re also usually surprised how protective she can be over someone. These are all her good qualities but unfortunately, Naryeo doesn’t really know how to show affection to people unless they’re persistent to get to know her. To enjoy all the support and happiness Naryeo can provide a person with, they have to first earn her trust which, as stated, is very hard.
She doesn’t particularly like nor dislike aegyo, in fact Naryeo has a giant immunity against it and whenever someone uses aegyo on her, it is almost as if doing it towards a brick wall. Naryeo isn’t very patient and can lose her temper easily and when something really angers her, she can go all kick-out on a person thanks to her kick-boxing skills. However, she prefers solving fights and problems with a serious talk but when the other party refuses to cooperate than she’s not afraid to use force. The only time she will really get agressive is during zombie attacks because she absolutely despises zombies and whoever made them since because of them she lost people she cared about. Even though she’s mentally strong and is hard to hurt her, Naryeo has her weak moments from time to time and she prefers keeping them to herself until it cracks her from the inside. She has a great pride and would never, ever cry in front of anyone.

Background : 
Naryeo was born as Park Jung Young, along with her older twin sister Park In Young, to parents who were drug, alcohol and gambling addicts. Naryeo and her sister were never planned to be born, just like their 10 years older brother Park Jung Soo (later known as Leeteuk), who practically raised them since their careless parents only cared about themselves and their pleasures. Being raised in extreme poverty and inhuman conditions, with their parents constantly molesting them, physically and mentally, one day Naryeo and her siblings were taken away from their parents and placed into orphanage. However, they were separated from Jung Soo as well, since he was taken to a different orphanage for children older than the age of 12.
Naryeo and her twin sister were only 4 at the time so today they only remember brief details about their parents and brother. Growing up in the orphanage wasn’t easy for the two girls, especially after they found out In Young was deaf and mute while Naryeo suffered from heterochromia but they had each other. They lived in the orphanage until they turned 10, when a nice lady noticed them playing in the backyard of the orphanage. Infatuated by the two girls, Jung Sun Yeo, who always wanted daughters amongst her two teenage sons, immediately adopted them. Park Jung Young and In Young then became Jung YunYee (Naryeo)  and YunYeo (InYoung). The twins managed to settle in the family rather quickly and they spent a nice childhood in the Jung family. The two Jung boys, YunHong and YunHo accepted them rather easily, despite the wide age difference between them, however, their foster father, Jung Dong Hee wasn’t that fond of the two orphan girls. He didn’t really pay much attention to them but he wasn’t particularly mean to them.
However, Naryeo and her sister faced another downfall when their foster mother died from cancer 3 years after adopting them. It was heartbreaking for the whole family, especially for Mr Jung. After the death of his wife, he completely lost himself in drinking and unintentionally blamed Mrs Jung’s death on the two orphan girls, taking out his anger on them by either hitting them or calling them terrible names. Their older adoptive brother closed into himself and didn’t make any more contact with his family. The only person still looking after Naryeo and her sister was Yunho who tried to protect them as much as he could from him own father.
Six years passed like that, Naryeo grew stronger mentally and physically, in order to protect herself and her sister from their abusive foster father when no one else was around to protect them. Naryeo learned kick-boxing and acrobatics in case she needed it. She also learned how to use guns and knives. After all you never know when you’ll need something like that. And in fact, she did need it when zombies started to occupy the world. First to succumb to zombie disease in her family was her foster father who was bitten and turned into a zombie. It all happened at his younger son Yunho’s 25^th birthday celebration, where he attacked his kids. He managed to get to the eldest son YunHong who was trying to protect his younger siblings. Naryeo, Yunho and In Young managed to escape after seeing their brother being eaten by their only father. They were hiding around Seoul for few months, trying to survive the zombie apocalypse, when one day a rather large group of zombie attacked them. Yunho and Naryeo were the only ones knowing the fighting skills and they managed to fight them of but In Young who was defenceless, got bitten by one of the zombies. Before she could turn into one, she begged her sister in Sign Language to kill her before she becomes a monster herself. Even though Naryeo couldn’t bring herself to do it, she had to and now she hates herself for doing it. Naryeo became a lot more cold-hearted than she already was and the only person to still see a bit of her lovely and vulnerable side is Yunho. After losing her sister, YunHong and her foster parents, Naryeo promised herself she will rather die than see Yunho or any of her friends die in the hands of zombies.

They didn’t hate each other but they didn’t really talk to each other either. Even when they did, it was a very short and awkward talk. Naryeo had her respects for Mr Jung but after the death of his wife, Mr Jung and Naryeo barely ever talked, unless it was fighting, and after Mr Jung as a zombie killed his son YunHong, Naryeo then disliked and feared Mr Jung more than she ever respected him. || Strict, old-fashioned with short-temper.

Naryeo grew fond of Mrs Jung and loved her as her own mother much like Mrs Jung loved Naryeo as her real daughter.
