We all know that our fics were like our OWN babies.

We spend alot of time thinking of the plot, typing it then review it.

WE even find the BEST poster makers for our fic.

BUT what if you found out that someone was copying your fic word for word?

The only thing that we can do is to call out the moderators and ban this and that!

BUT why incedents like these happen?

Well here's my TOP 3 Reasons Why SOME Became Victims Of Plagiarism.

101. Because you don't use the DTS or Disallow Text Selection. 

Yeah. I know that some people know this thing but MOST of the people doesn't know.

So what is DTS?

DTS is a feature wherein it "disallows" someone to highlight your texts and copy it. SIMPLE.

Where can you find it?

Click "Edit" (beside your foreword link) and you will find this check box above your "Title Box" then click "Save".

201. Because you don't use the Search Box efficiently.  

Search Box is not only a tool to find your favorite topics, it can also be a good way to locate text which is similar to your work.

It is also a good way to locate who's that person who copied your work.

Let's use my AFF Fic for example.

So below is the line that I want to use.

Then type/copy and paste it on the search box the click "Search"

Then TWALAH! Results will be out in no time, look around if there are some similar lines with your work.

BUT make sure to see that similar file before reporting it to the Mods.

301. Because your story is very good!

Ofcourse, no one will put interest in your fic if that is not good! Best is? Know who are your readers.

Talk to them and get their feedbacks. Maybe, they could also help you trace up those "PLAGIARMONSTERS."
