Yumi is basically a bubbly & cheerful girl. She can be really friendly but if the other party is being cold/unfriendly, she'll feel ignored and be quiet around that person. Because of her carefree personality, she likes being funny and fools around her friends. Being the only daughter & the youngest child in her wealthy family, Yumi was urged to pursue business studies overseas and help out her father's carer but you know, Yumi isn't a person you can wrap your hands around. She has her own thinkings and she seriously had no interest in her family business at all. Since she had always wanted to be a journalist since young, Yumi determined to study hard and prove to her father that she could do well in her journalism studies instead of heeding her father's advices to pursue business. And due to her stubborness and determination, she succeed persuading her parents to allow her to study journalism. Another very bad thing about Yumi is her clumsiness. Being a playful girl who is clumsy, she often got herself into troubles and sometimes even injuries. What makes her more problematic is her stubbornness & hot-headed personality. She can never heed others' advices if she thinks she's doing the right thing, even if she's not. When facing a confused and hard situation, her hot-headed personality will shows up. She'll make decisions and go through things roughly without thinking twice. Despite her hot-headed personality & stubbornness, Yumi is actually a warm-hearted person. She has a heart of gold and often offer helps to the needy ones. Given her straightforward personality, if someone is being nasty and rude with her, she'd never give in and attack you with words in your face. Yumi was born in Singapore, when her parents were living there to manage a few outlets they own there. When Yumi's grandfather passed away, they migrated back to Seoul as her father is the only kid to inherit the family business. Yumi has two elder brothers, who is now helping her father to run the company. Being the youngest of the family, she has been showered with lots of love and that's probably the main reason why she's stubborn & demanding. Her stubborness always results her parents and brothers to give into her most of the time. Having a strict father, Yumi was first forced to further business studies in Canada but was then allowed to study journalism due to her stubborness & determination.

how you met: Yumi & Luhan first met at their school's tennis court. They were both fighting over the usage of the tennis court. Since both of them were sports lovers, none of them wants to give in. They started arguing & bickering until Krystal, who was late for her tennis date with Yumi came in and suggested that they share the court and play together with Luhan and his friend, Lay. (That's how Yumi knows Lay.) Although Yumi herself doesn't want to admit, she was captivated by Luhan's charming side when he's on the court. But she thought - "What a shame. A beautiful face for someone who has a ty personality."Since both Yumi & Luhan don't have good impression for each other, they don't get along well, at all. They often meet each other in school especially when both of them were majoring the same subject. These two stubborn buffalos tend to fight & bicker over small stuffs everytime they meet. Being a senior in school, Luhan often picks on Yumi during classes and her reports or assignments. Not wanting to raise the white flag, Yumi often play pranks on Luhan and create troubles for him. You know, like Tom & Jerry. XD What adds more to their dislikeness towards each other is that, in school, they are rivals in terms of sports ability. Luhan is a well-known & the best male tennis player in their school ever since he is in his first year. He's the president of the school's tennis club and there goes his another chance to pick on Yumi since she registered for the club too. On the other side, Yumi who plays tennis since she's young was nominated the best female tennis player by their tennis club teacher. Countless amount of competition had arose between them resulting their dislikeness towards each other increases day by day.

how you met: Yumi first met Sehun at a back alley of a street in the heart of Paris in the middle of night. Yumi went to the dark back alley to investigate about the ion activity carried out by the locals and the night life of Paris for her assignment so she could earn a merit from her lecturer. If she is lucky, she might get extra points for her examinations. You know, hardworking girl like Yumi wouldn't let go a single chance to prove herself especially when journalism is what she always want to do. At the back alley, when she was trying to peep at a pub from the back door & looking for a chance to capture a picture of the illegal activities carried out there with her dslr camera, she bumped into Sehun, who happened to went there to investigate the same case for his end-year assignment as he was majoring criminal studies. Sehun, who was a French-Korean who understands both language helped out Yumi a lot throughout the night during their investigation. They became close after that especially when Sehun often calls Yumi and talk to her.
