Life Background: Jihyun spent most of her life on Jeju island, which she both liked and disliked; she liked it because it was so pretty and she could go swimming whenever she wanted, but disliked it because, in her opinion, there was nothing to do. Her parents (her father really) finally sent her oversea's to the US, saying that maybe that would straighten her out. They couldn't have been more wrong. Once she got their she immediately discovered the town's underground scene. She immediately took to dancing and rapping, (she was forced into dance class when she was little) and began to compete in various competitions. She struggled with juggling both her grades and "extracurricular's", she would rather go party then study and her grades suffered for it. Eventually her parents intervened and brought her back to Korea. She fell into a sort of slump for awhile until her mother brought her a flier for a audition, knowing that Jihyun really enjoyed preforming.
