Personality:
She is uper imature and super playful. Ryu is clueless like most of the time. She is very slow at catching up with things especially jokes. It might be cute at first but sooner or later it will become very annoying. She is easily distracted especially when doing tasks. She finds almost everything interesting and just abandon her tasks right away that make her gets into trouble lots of time. But she is very organize when she is into her work. Ryu does talk a lot, she just throws out everything that’s on her mind which is totally nonsense sometimes. Like everyone with a B blood type, she is kind of a bad girl who doesn't hold anything back. She is really loud. She can’t even shut for one freaking minute. People call her monkey because she is very hyper. Most of her actions are done without thinking. Ryu is very powerful when it comes to arguing with people so she always is confidence when it comes to winning in arguments. Ryu’s stupid side will appears when she is being indenial and especially when she is jealous, she'll keep on boasting about herself but end up humiliating herself. Though, she looks stupid, she is excellent in terms of academic.
Ryu is very obvious in showing emotions. You can see everything right through her and you'll know what she is feeling at that moment. When she is sad, she expect people to soothe her. Ryu is always open about everything and she is never awkward with people but she sometimes happens to be too friendly so it makes people feel quite uncomfortable. She is quite a perfectionist but it depends on her mood actually. She is random most of the time. Ryu never did take things seriously which is super hard if she is working. However when it comes to friends, she is very caring and warm towards people. She is not scared in showing her love by skinship. She loves doing them xD She is easily annoyed if people around her are hot tempered. When Ryu is annoyed, she is not afraid to make them feel insulted. It's really hard to see Ryu gets mad, but if she does, a lot of hitting, biting, cursing will involved and you do not want to see that happen.
Ryu has this bad habit of getting away when she was asked to do chores or when she makes mistakes. Her brain is full with ideas so she can come up with thousand of excuses. Other than that she is totally forgetful. If you happen to give her rules to obey, she will break it somehow xD Everything goes her own way. When you point out her wrongs and mistakes, she'll defend herself until the end and she wont admit her mistakes. Another thing that you should know about her is she is open when it comes to love. So whenever she fall in love, she treats him like he is her everything. She is not awkward at showing her love (skinship). She is very caring and romantic towards her boyfriend and she'll never betray him. But Ryu's heart is very fragile and she always become confuse when it comes to love and hurt herself. She also has this bad habit in a relationship which is 'overload jealousy'. You can't imagine what a fool she can be when she is jealous.

Background: 
She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her family is quite wealthy so she never did suffer any hardships. During her stay in Louisiana, her parents had taught and adapted her will korean cultures even though they are in another country. Ryu doesn't really think this is a burden so she doesn't really care about it. Her mom had taught japanese to her oppa and her but she is quite slow at it so she can't master it properly. At the age of 14 she moved to Korea to live with her grandparents in Busan because her parents wanted her to be self independent. She went to a normal school there, and learned how to speak in Busan accent. It took a very a short time for her to adapt herself there.
Her grandparents used to be an actor and an actress. She was casted by SM Ent when she was 15 when she participated in a theater play in her school. She became a trainee for a year and was taught about acting before dropping out because she had to sit for an important examination. At the age of 17, she once again audition for JYP Ent and was accepted. In JYP, she found another talent that she never knew existed, her voice. JYP Ent brushes her skills in singing. During her trainee years, she make lots of idol friends. After two years of training, she finally debuted as an actress in Dream High 2 and then debuted as a singer.
