Personality: That one girl in middle school who would always seem to scare some boys away, but make the whole classroom laugh. Always coming up with great schemes, hilarious pranks on other students, and had a passion for cross-dressing in high school. All of this totaled into Minneul being as crazy as she is today. She screams a lot, cracks her voice at random times to make the other members laugh, trips and falls a lot as a joke, and casually likes to touch someone's face [when bored]. Minneul is real nice, erted (in a hilarious creep way at times), stubborn, intelligent, sweet, and can only be mature when told many times to. Don't let her looks fool you. As pretty and elegant as she looks, she cross-dresses at home and does crazy things "like the guys". Minneul can be picky though too, for example, she just really dislike unhealthy food. She will only accept it once in a while, though. Minneul can also act cute and sweet when she wants something (when the time is right), which is also another reason
why many people just don't get her. She really has a things for bunnies and pandas, and goes real crazy when someone mentions the two animals. She is a fan of Pokemon (video game) and Pokemon Special (manga).On top of that, Minneul is a big fan of the anime, Ouran High School Host Club. When she overreacts, she can somewhat symbolize her favorite character from the anime. Despite her craziness and childish personality (and attitude), Minneul only changes (by like 20%) in front of someone she likes. Minneul isn't an easy crier unless you hit her most sensitive spot (which is all of her insecurities), she's actually indeed real strong. When she's on the verge of crying, she always tends to tell herself "take it like a man" and immedietaly stops. (Which just shows how she somewhat views herself.)
Background: Born in the States, raised in Seoul, Minneul had a very energetic life. Her father, Hwang Junsuh, had worked always worked business with a manufacturing money. Minneul's mother, Park Misun, started working half-time at a department store once Minneul turned seven. Since her parents were always at work, Minneul had tooken care of herself and her carefree older brother, Hwang Jaeryeong. Since then, Minneul had developed such weird thoughts and a unique start for a personality since she was always by herself. When she was eight, she took interest into piano and picked up very quickly. When she turned ten, her parents bought her a flute (which she learned to play by ear). At around age eleven, she began composing and picking up guitar. Once she could write songs at age twelve, she decided to learn the ukulele. Finally, when Minneul turned thirteen, she auditioned for SM Entertainment, but didn't get accepted. When she turned fourteen, she was so shocked and filled with joy when JYP accepted her. She always knew her singing wasn't the best, but thanks to the instruments, her pitch, key, and use of creativity was good enough.

How you met: "When I was with Jo Kwon one day, he invited the other members of 2AM to hang out with us. I always got this nevous and attention-wanting feeling when it came to Jin Woon that day. He wouldn't talk to me much, nor associate himself with me. But, I guess Jo Kwon picked up on what I was feeling and soon forced us to go get a table for lunch while him and the other members went to order. That's when we started talking. It started as a casual talk, but I guess he noticed that I wasn't like other girls."

Trainee Life: Minneul stumbled upon loneliness, as many other trainees had excluded her. Along with exclution, she had dealt with poor health and two injuries. She was also not the best trainee; her talent was way off compared to the others and how the others progressed. But, that all soon ceared up when Minneul's passion for training grew stronger and she eventually practiced lots, having sleepless nights.
