Style: LiXi will wear anything he feels comfy in. He likes loose fitting clothes (like sweaters and hoodies) but doesn't mind if they are fitting. He is the kinds that will always wear hightops and converses  no matter what the occasion is and is always seen wearing  skinny jeans.  He isn't very fashion conscious for someone who has modeled a lot but he always manages to pull off any type of clothes he wears. He likes to dress in layers, especially in the winter time ( when he is always seen with those overly large scarves wrapped around his neck).

Personality:

Jin comes off looking blank and doll like (unreal) to people but is actually sweet, simple,  a little bit happy-go-lucky and shy, lively, and cute.  People tend to associate him to a puppy.  According to s, Jin is also a tad bit naive. They once caught him having a staring contest with the camera, which he of course lost. They've also tricked him into crossdressing before because the members were curious (they tweeted the pictures for all their fans to see). True to his blood type, Jin can be a bit stubborn at times. He is goal oriented and will complete whatever task he has started as well as he can.  He is the type of person who doesn't get mad easily and will bottle up his feelings, hiding them all behind his smiles. However, when he can't bottle his feelings anymore, he will snap at the slightest thing that annoys him so be careful. He usually takes care of his negative emotions before they pile up by beating his pillows. He also takes things to heart if they come from people he cares about but if they are from strangers, he could care less, passing them off with a smile. He isn't the type to stick his nose into other people's business, he would rather mind his own.  He is usually compared to SuJu-M's maknae, Henry (even though they are friends)

Family history and relationship: 

Xiao Jin was born in Canada but was raised back and forth in England and Paris. His father (Korean born in France ) is the Korean ambassador of France and his mother (Chinese born in England ) is the owner of world famous hotel chains. They are extremely supportive of their children and as long as they give it their all, the results don't matter as long as they have fun and learned something from the experience.  He learned to played the violin from his grandfather (on his dad's side) when he was 3 years old. He had a natural talent for it and was known as the violin prodigy. He is the youngest of three children. He has an older brother (6 yrs older) and sister (4 yrs older) who dote on him every chance they get (his parents are like that too).

Xiao Jin actually couldn't think of one so the company put a poll up to see what the fans wanted. The one that got the most votes was  'X1.on'. X standing for his initial, and 1.on is the reverse of no.1, stating his wish to become the better to reach his goals.

Trainee history: 

He was a trainee for HeartRockTearz for about 2 years. He played violin instrumentals for other artists before he debuted. He also played violin ost for dramas and movies.

How did they discover you:

Choi Chunghee saw a crowd of people gathering in the local park near sunset. Wondering why they were gathering there, he walked over to the crowd and witness first hand Xiao Jin performing on his violin for the kids and their parents before they went home for the day. Awed by the performance, he asked some parents and their kids about him. He was told that this boy has been doing this for 2 years. They never knew when he was going to perform but they always come back just to watch him perform. Choi Chunghee was impressed and after Xiao Jin's performance was over, he asked him if he wanted to become a trainee for HeartRockTearz.

They were waiting in the waiting room (shared by B1A4, SHINee,  Infinite and Absolute) for inkigayo. They became best friends after.
