It's like nothing she does is right. Chaeyeon is constantly worrying about her appearance with habits like always touching her face and checking the mirror, but the worst of those is her dieting.
Chaeyeon looks at herself as a pathetic excuse for a model who got lucky. Of course she would never express that to anyone but her constant failure has lead her to believe that she'll never amount to anything unless she continues to be the skinniest and the prettiest. But it seems like every time she gets skinnier, she loses fans so instead she maintains her weight by throwing up every time she hits three digits on the scale. She's a good problem solver like that but her disregard for everything but her appearance makes this very useful skill...useless for lack of better words. The constant fear that someone is gossiping about her distracts her, and when all eyes are on her, she doesn't feel that surge of energy like the fairest of them all would feel. Instead she feels like they're judging her, all of them are picking at all her faults. In her mind, she picks at every flaw she can find, even if she has to make it up. In truth, many have contemplated whether she's cut out for this field which just adds to her paranoia that secretly, everyone hates her.
