Depressing
Two of my favorite authors have deactivitaed their accounts...
I rarely update my blog and this is the second time that I am posting something. It's just that, this thought has been bothering me this past few days especially after Scribbbler -- one of our genius of writers, had deactiviated her account. And now, another writer had deactivated her account and left me hanging with the thought what made them give up?
I know, I know that they have the right to do that . . . but that is not the point of this post because the question is - should I deactivate my account too?
Another problem of some authors here too is the lack of comments ... I experienced it some time -- especially with BFTS. This could be a nonsense reason but for authors feedback is a must. How are we going to know your point of view of the story if you're not going to say it? And besides, comments - whether negative or postive - boost our esteem and our imagination to do better.
For me, deactivating an account is likely a suicidal act - not only you give up with yourself, you also give up to those who are reading your works and waiting for an update ...
This continuos suicides are driving me to depression -- :(
