{The Long or the Short of It

Personality :

Stubborn, smart, independent, patient, hard-working and determined. A few words many people use to summarize Mei’s personality with. Although they do forget with this that she is a very quiet, friendly and sweet girl too. She can get attached to people rather quickly, and so do almost anything to make them smile. She isn’t very difficult to please and is known by people because of her everlasting smile. Her father calls her a sun child because of her bright and calm nature.

Mei isn’t a person who talks easily about her own thoughts or feelings with others. She always has a lot of things on her mind and most of the time just lacks the words to express her thoughts and feelings properly. That’s the main reason why she’s so quiet around others. The second reason is that she completely doesn’t mind it to listen to other people. Listen to how they tell their stories to her and through that get to know them. Some people would consider her a wallflower.

It isn’t hard to get to know her. Although she has a very layered personality she easily lets people come close to her. Even though sometimes they don’t even know this or sometimes she doesn’t really show how much she cares for a person since her biggest fear is losing them one day.

Background :

 

Mei's family are mixed with Chinese and Koreans. Qian Xi Min, her father, is Korean-Chinese and is working at a big company in the China but had transfered back to his hometown in South Korea. While Lee Mi, who is Mei's mother, is Korean-Taiwanese but knows how to speak English. She was a model once, so now she became a bit of a fashionista. Both of her parents are successful with their work and also successful with their family. They have a very close bond that other families may not have, although they still have problems.

With siblings, Her brother was born and grew up in China, while Mei was born in Seoul but grew up in Taiwan. Both of them were seperated from childhood but were close because they often talk online. Sometimes one of them will visit the other when they have the time to, besides China and Taiwan aren't that far. Her father was in China while her mother was with her in Taiwan. Her parents too, lived in different countries but are still married. They just had some businesses they couldn't leave. But of course one day, just like some sort of movie, a 11 year old Mei and her family moved back to South Korea as the businesses requested.

Apocalypse Story :

What was she doing that day? Oh that's easy. She was sitting in the back of an overheated car. With her dad in the front, honking the horn every two minutes. Could life get better? Oh yeah! She was also late for school. Unable to put up with her fathers ramblings from the front seats anymore, she put her headphones in her ears and fell asleep against the tinted window.

After what seemed like hours, she woke up with a jolt. Looking outside the window she noticed they hadn't got any further. She sighed and asked her dad what was taking so long. Receiving no answer she turned to look at him only to notice her wasn't there and that the car door had been pulled off. She opened the door and stepped out of the car, looking around at the scene. The road that was once busy now had no people in sight, their cars left in the road. She looked around for her father, turning around and getting an eyefull of ugly, decayed and smelly flesh. Welp... This didn't look good.

Location :

After stabbing the zombie in the head with a bit of pipe that was disconnected from one of the cars, Mei ran right up the road and hid inside an open car trunk. She closed over the trunk when she got in, not fully shutting it in case of an emergency. She lay down on her side peering through the gap and praying to god nothing found her. Not two minutes had passed before she saw a pair of legs right outside the trunk. She waited with baited breath as the thing opened the trunk. To her suprise she was met with a pretty smiling boy. (Chen! Why you gotta scare her like that!?)

Reaction :

She is against it totally. She thinks Chen is a bit shady and she should be wary of him.

Willingness :

Totally against it! When she had told Chen that she was not going to go with him, he hoisted her up, threw her over his shoulder and covered . Dragging her away kicking and screaming, well kicking.

How well do you get along? :

They get along but not in a good way. They tease each other none stop and keep trying to beat each other at their games of who can kill the most zombies! Whenever they are together they argue but they look out for eachother no even though they say they hate each other.  Confusing? I know!

Do you like him at first? : No

If no : She thinks he is far too quiet, she finds him suspicious.. much like the other boys. He doesn't seem to care about anybody or anything and she thinks to herself "I bet he will throw me to the zombies first chance he gets"

Does he like you at first? : No

If no : Although her finds her wit and sarcasm funny he feels that she is obnoxious and quite stupid. She seems uninterested in anybody there and always seems detatched.

Who falls first? : You can surprise me if you want!

How well do you get along? :

The two were in school together. They met in the library one day and a friendship formed. They do enjoy each others company and find each other beyond interesting. Both of them talk alot together and practise killing zombies together.

Do you like him at first? : Yes

If yes : He swept her off her feet, literally, they bumped into eachother in school and papers went flying everywhere. She looked at him panicing over her and her papers and she found him adorable.

 

Does he like you at first? : Yes

If yes : Because she has magical fairy charms He finds her deeply interesting although he is not quite sure why. He finds that she makes him laugh a lot and that makes him like her a lot more than the girls who throw themselves at his feet.

 

Who falls first? : Surprise me again! It's nearly my birthday! :D
