History: They were close friends in primary school. Their mothers would take them out with them to play. Once Jessica moved onto upper grades, she was distant with Eunhae because they weren't able to talk all the time. Once Eunhae had graduated into the upper grades, Eunhae became well known for her dance in the school's talent show. Green with envy, Jessica had tried for the dance team but was not accepted; this caused her to blame Eunhae (because children don't need big reasons) and has resented her for her fame since.

Trainee Life: During another one of Eunhae's showcases with her dance team, a scout had come by to talk to her. During her freshmen year of high school, she was asked to come train with professionals. Because of Eunhae's special techniques in popping, locking, and breaking, she was asked to showcase for bigger talents; all of which were impressed. But because of Eunhae's habit of singing aloud when bored, she was also discovered to be a nice singer, placing her in a higher rank. Once she finished her sophomore year, she was talked to about debuting.
