How do you even begin to explain about Kim Joo Min? She's a girl with the most.. Strangest personality? Well not strange, she's just an average tomboy. She isn't a tomboy who has short hair. Joo Min loves her long hair and wouldn't dare cut it off. Joo Min loves bugs and video games and all those boys things. She loves to play soccer and basketball with her brother and his friends. She plays tough and never allowed them to treat her like a girl. When someone pushed her, she pushed back twice as hard. When someone hit her, she would throw a near by item at them. It was simple for her. She had grown up with boys, and was treated like a boy her whole life. Kim Joo Min was no wallflower. She was loud and hyper most of the time. She spoke loudly without taking notice of the people around her and often ran around things. Joo Min was always up and going. Even as a child, she wasn't able to sit still in her seat. At school, she would be looking around everywhere and constantly talking to her classmates.She got in trouble for this quite often.

Kim Joo Min was caring She cared the most for her loved ones and would do anything to keep them alive. When she sees things that remind her of them, she would often but it and hand it to them as a gift. She would do the same for friends. Joo Min loves to buy presents and wouldn't mind spending all her money on presents. Kim Joo Min hid everything with her bright eye smile. It was almost impossible to tell what was going on in her brain. People often questioned her if she gets mad or sad. She replies with a small smile and says " I try not to think about the bad thoughts. I think positive." With that one saying, she made it through the toughest days. Joo Min was a tough cookie and she wasn't going to let anyone knock her down. But when that one thing hits her soft spot, you know she'll break down. People that hate her can't find that soft spot of her cause she never showed it. That soft spot of hers had to do with her mother. Nobody had ever thought of talking about her mother, so she hadn't broken down as much.

She wasn't the type to have crushes. She was oblivious when it came to love. She treated boys always as friends and nothing more. When someone asked her out on a date once, she denied him. Joo Min didn't know what liking someone felt like. She never thought that such a feeling existed. Joo Min never thought anyone would like her in that manner. After they confessed to her, she found it rather awkward to even stand next to them. She was clueless.

Being a tomboy meant that she wasn't a big fan of skirts and high heels. She was always in sneakers and jeans growing up. She often wore sweaters and t-shirts. It wasn't until around high school where she slowly started to become girly. Due to her best friend Krystal, she was soon skipping around in shirts and make up.

As a child growing up, Joo Min grew up acting like a boy. She was constantly surrounded by boys as a child and soon grew into one even with her pretty looks. She often surprised people with her skills in sports and determination. Joo Min grew up with her brother and her father. Music surrounded the house constantly so it wasn't a surprised when she auditioned for SM. With her brother being a singer, he soon taught her all the ropes to it. His band mates had helped in the process, teaching her dances and singing exercises. Joo Min grew up without a mother and had to rely on her father.
