Unlike her brother, Se Kyung doesn’t really have much of a fashion sense. She simply
wears what’s in her closet, and usually what’s in her closet is simply what Kyunghee tells
her to wear. She keeps it simple most times, just a skirt and a blouse or some jeans and
some shirts. Se Kyung is also the type of girl to prefer flats over heels and long skirts over
short shorts any day – she simply doesn’t see the point in wearing extravagant clothing.
Such is the curse of a visual arts student, she reckons.

Se Kyung is very neat with her uniform, never leaving anything in a mess. She claims that
she’s already messy with everything else in her life, why mess her uniform too? Se Kyung
prefers the winter uniform though, at least when she paints when she has that uniform on,
the paint stains on her blouse are easily covered up with the blazer.

Additional Information:

Ear piercing ;; on both ears, she usually uses black studs to match with Kyunghee,
though he claims that he doesn’t want to be seen wearing couple items with her.

Real Story

Background:

∴ Han Se Kyung was born the first of the twins to two actor parents – one being a
television personality, the other a genius musical actor. She’s basically surrounded with
people who act well, or are in the acting business. Heck, even her younger brother went
on to become a “genius actor” despite his young age. It honestly did make her feel a tad
bit left out, even if she knew deep inside her she never had any talent for performing at all.

She did try hard to learn a lot of things; acting, singing, dancing – none of it worked out for
her and Se Kyung became a bit of a black sheep in the family. And for a long while, it did
actually bother her.

That is, until she met an aspiring actor backstage during one of her brother’s plays { before
their years in the university } and talked with him about it, thinking that perhaps if she could
tell a stranger, it would be the best. He told her the best advice she had ever heard that
day; “give up acting and stop trying to act at all if you’re that bad at it.” He told her. She did
exactly what he told her to do, and pursued painting instead, something she was actually
good at.

She doesn’t remember who the stranger actually was, but she’s convinced that it might be
Professor Siwan…?

Personality:

∴ Hey, you’re my sunshine, my only sunshine |Se Kyung is usually regarded as a bright ball
of sunshine that can simply light up anyone’s day with a single smile. Though that is honestly
exaggerating, a lot of people still find her cheerfulness very contagious. She’s never one to
frown or stay mad for a long time as she says those will only cause wrinkles on your face. Se
Kyung is a girl with a lot of aegyo and is never afraid to use it, especially when she catches
you in a bad mood. Rest assured she’ll be launching a full-out force of cuteness until you start
smiling or die from all the cringe-worthy aegyo.

The charming little lady | Despite her cheery persona and slight choding tendencies, Se Kyung
is actually quite reliable and mature. Because she’s the older of the twins, she naturally
developed a sense of responsibility to take care of her younger brother. This attitude of hers
had somehow been extended to public as well, earning Se Kyung the name of “everyone’s
older sister”. Se Kyung is a person who isn’t stressed so easily and thus a lot of people go to
her if ever they’re in trouble.

The insecure young woman | Flawless and perfect? Not quite. The thing with Se Kyung
though is that she tries too hard to be someone she isn’t. She’s a people-pleaser and the
only time she actually did something for herself is when she took that stranger’s advice and
pursued a painting career. Aside from that, everything she does had been for the sake of
making other people happy. She doesn’t know the meaning of the words “You can’t please
everyone” and pushes herself to the limit, trying to be the girl that everyone could look up to.

The little girl within |Se Kyung likes to live in a world of pretense. In that sense, she might
actually be a better actor than her brother Kyunghee. She likes to keep up the image of
someone who people will be able to rely on, because honestly, Se Kyung is a bit of an
attention seeker. Because she wasn’t given much by her mother during their childhood days,
Se Kyung is admittedly someone who seeks the warmth of love, of acceptance.

Trivia:

Se Kyung has a not-so-secret crush on her brother’s not-so-mutual rival, Siwan.
YoonA and Se Kyung used to be best friends until Woohyun came along and
befriended her. They drifted apart because of that and it didn’t help that YoonA had
become heartbroken at the news of Kyunghee liking a girl named Hyosung with Se
Kyung doing nothing to comfort her.
- Se Kyung does accept it as her fault, but that doesn’t
  mean she can’t feel a little hurt that YoonA so easily
  gave up their friendship.
The couple items she collects are usually given to Woohyun since Kyunghee is such a
killjoy. She currently has a total of six items with him.

Ye Jin is very charming; despite being a tad bit stuck up, no one can fully say they hate
her. She’s a little bit of an elitist, but is still very respectful to everyone she works with. |
Ye Jin and Se Kyung have a bit of an awkward relationship playing with them. She’s
not particularly close with her mother, but Se Kyung knows that despite Ye Jin never
initiating conversations with her after her decision of becoming a painter, her mother
does still care for her.

Jungsoo is a little out there – he’s kind of weird and though he has a lot of bright ideas,
his oddball personality seems to overcome everything. |
Unlike her relationship with her mother, Se Kyung is very open with her dad. Jungsoo
loves his daughter and is very protective of her, which is why he usually tells
Kyunghee to always take care of his older sister.
Younger brother: Han Kyunghee | 20 | Student; majoring in Theatre | Alive |
Kyunghee is what a lot of people would call “Mr. Grumpy Pants” as he’s always seen
irritated over the slightest things. Almost regarded as the complete opposite of Se
Kyung, that doesn’t mean he isn’t popular. |
Despite being younger than her, Kyunghee is very protective over her. Some say he
might have a bit of a sister complex, though in all reality, he just really, really loves
his sister.

Cousin: Park Sunyoung { Luna } | 19 | Student; majoring in Dance | Alive |
Luna is a generally very optimistic and hyper kid. A lot of people say she takes up from
her older cousin, Se Kyung, when it comes to their view on things. |
Luna adores her older cousin Se Kyung. She looks up to her a lot and respects her
quite a bit.

Bestfriends :

Nam Woohyun | 21 | Student; majoring in Vocals | Alive |
For those who don’t know him that well, Woohyun is a bit creepy. He’s a guy who’s
seriously as cheesy as cheese and about as corny as corn can be. With a lot of aegyo
and greasy pick-up lines up his sleeve though, you can’t really deny the fact that this
boy has a whole lot of charisma. |
Woohyun and Se Kyung have this flirting relationship that is honestly completely
platonic. A lot of people suspect that they might have a relationship going on, but
Woohyun is really just too flirty for a guy and Se Kyung much too friendly.

Friends:

Kim Kibum { Key } | 21 | Student; majoring in Fashion | Alive |
A bit of a diva and a show off mixed together, Key is a fireball of a character you
can’t easily contain. |
Key is a bit of an attention seeker and usually bothers Se Kyung a lot, especially
when it concerns his designs.
Im Woongjae { Siwan } | 24 | Acting instructor | Alive |
Siwan is a courteous and polite young gentleman who could easily win the heart of
any girl he sets his eyes on. |
Siwan dotes on her like an oppa dotes on his dongsaeng, he finds her quite cute
but doesn’t seem to see her as a woman. That doesn’t bother Se Kyung at all
though, possibly only makes her more determined to win his heart.
Song Jieun | 22 | Student; majoring in Vocals | Alive |
A sweet young girl who is about as timid as a mouse, Jieun is sometimes even called
an angel because of her kind and soft spoken personality. |
It’s quite strange for people to see Jieun and Se Kyung interact, especially since
they seem to be quite different, but they’re actually quite good friends. Jieun
usually welcomes Se Kyung warmly to her dorm room whenever the other visits,
showing a close relationship.

Past Relationships

YoonA is a choding most of the time, and though people would normally find that
irritating, her sweetheart image completely makes up for it. |
It’s a little awkward around YoonA and Se Kyung, especially after YoonA had
transferred divisions without telling Se Kyung. Losing YoonA as a friend was really
painful for Se Kyung, especially when she saw how easily YoonA moved on.

Wake Up

Rival: Cha Ji Dong | OC ;; Hael-Tan’s | 21 | Fine Arts Department ;; Painting |

Ji Dong is a know-it-all playboy; at least, that’s what Se Kyung thinks. He has a bit of a
bad reputation amongst his peers – especially of the female kind – but somehow he’s still
quite… famous? It sort of irritates Se Kyung, really. Despite this though, he’s really good
at what he does – drawing seems like such an easy task when it comes to him.

Why are you rivals?
∴ There is no particular reason for it, Se Kyung just really dislikes him. She dislikes his playboy
attitude and how he plays with girls’ hearts. She dislikes the fact that despite his bad
personality, Ji Dong is still one of the top students with his skill. Se Kyung really, for some
reason, cannot stand it, despite it being out of her character to dislike someone so much.

How do you act around each other?
∴ Rather than do anything blatant like throwing glares at each other and such, Se Kyung
resorts to the only way she knows how – trying to beat him when it comes to practical
painting and such. Ji Dong doesn’t really seem to mind her at all though – or he does but
never really shows it.

Love Beat

Love Interest: Kim Dongjun | Ze:A | 20 | Performing Arts Division ;; Dance and Theatre |

Dongjun is a cross between an adorably cute maknae and a fiercely y young man. He
changes so easily from one thing to the other it’s kind of scary and you don’t know which one is
the real thing. The dangerous thing is that he knows it. Dongjun is a bit of a show-off and has a
lot of confidence in a whole lot of things, not that he shouldn’t have – Dongjun is the type of guy
to have the complete package; looks, smarts and talents. Dongjun exudes the aura of
perfection, though he’s probably just too confident for his own good, but it does actually cover up
a lot of his flaws.

How you met each other?
∴ Se Kyung met him backstage during one of their play recitals, trying to find Kyunghee { or
Siwan, but that’s beside the point } to wish him good luck. She was instead met with a nervous
Dongjun who was about to do his first lead role. Se Kyung attempted to get him to calm down
by talking with him about nonsensical things unrelated to the play.

How do you act around each other?
∴ Dongjun acts like a little puppy around her, always a little needy and a bit clingy as well. Not
that Se Kyung minds much as she’s perfectly used to it thanks to Kyunghee and Woohyun. Since
Se Kyung is older than him, she doesn’t really see Dongjun as anything more than a dongsaeng,
which quite obviously ticks him off a little bit. Dongjun tries hard to get Se Kyung to see him as
a man rather than a boy, but it seems Se Kyung only has her eye on a certain professor…?

Back Up Love Interest: Kim Sunggyu | INFINITE | 23 | Student-teacher ;; Vocals |

Sunggyu is a perfectionist, and a scary one at that. He nags a lot, especially to his students
and his friends, but it’s only because he cares a lot about them. Most people say Sunggyu is
really scary, especially since he glares all the time and complains a lot, but underneath all
that, Sunggyu is a real sweetheart who thinks of others before himself.

How you met each other?
∴ Woohyun is particularly close with this teacher for reasons unknown to Se Kyung. But it was
because of her persistent best friend that she met the scary music professor/student Sunggyu.

How do you act around each other?
∴ Sunggyu and Se Kyung do not really interact much unless Woohyun is involved, if the said
boy is with them, the two gang up to . Sunggyu is admittedly unnaturally comfortable
with Se Kyung and surprisingly, Se Kyung is as well. He often asks whenever he can if
Woohyun is bothering her at all, and seems to care a lot about her well being. Se Kyung in turn
often asks Woohyun how the student-teacher is doing.

Division & Course: Fine Arts Division ;; Major in Painting

Specialzation:

Impressionist paintings ;; a lot of people like to classify Se Kyung’s impressionist work
as “sticking true to Monet’s original style” as her paintings are usually quite vague that
leave a lot for questions.
Realism sketches ;; her portraits are especially good. Though her usual model is her
brother’s teacher, Im Siwan – not that she’d ever let anyone see…

Dorm: Yes | No ;; the twins are currently living with their cousin and aunt near the
school.

Dream:

Se Kyung wants to be a renowned painter. She wants to be recognized as an artist just as good
as her brother is as an actor. Though if she had to be perfectly honest, she just really wants her
mother to recognize her hard work and praise her a little bit for doing what she wants to do,
rather than doing what her mother wants and failing in it.
