Insomnia Drabble
Tessa ran at full speed through the forest as she escaped the facility. She used her powers to boost her agility to try and hide herself from the guards.
She ran with all her might out of the trees but found herself right at the edge of the cliff. “” she cursed under her breath as she looked around the area to find another way out.
“Looks like you’ve got nowhere to go” said a dark voice from behind her.
Tessa turned around and came face to face with her worst nightmare, “U-Kwon!”
“Don’t think that you can get away so easily.” U-Kwon smirked, “You’re lucky they only sent me to chase after you”
“And I know the reason why” Tessa muttered.
“And what might that be?” U-Kwon smirked once again, as he already knew the answer.
Tessa stepped back, “Because you’re the only hybrid that’s in the alliance”
U-Kwon took a step towards her, “That’s correct, but you know… there’s something I’ve been keeping from you”
“What do you mean?” Tessa asked as she kept stepping back.
U-Kwon kept silent as he kept stepping towards Tessa. Tessa was stepping back until she felt her foot slip slightly on the edge of the cliff. “You need to get far away from here” U-Kwon said as he broke the tension.
“I thought…” Tessa seemed baffled at what he just said.
“Do you want them to do to you what they did to me?!” U-Kwon raised his voice. Tessa shook her head. “Then you better leave and never come back”
“Why are you doing this?” Tessa asked with a shaky voice.
“Because we’re one in the same” U-Kwon quickly replied. “We’re both hybrids, but the alliance caught me before you and they’ve turned my pure power into tainted dark power and I don’t want that to happen to you”
Tessa understood what he meant and looked over her shoulder and saw how high up the cliff was. “How do I know that I can trust you?”
U-Kwon didn’t say anything but his actions spoke for himself. He cupped her cheeks and kissed her square on the lips. “It doesn’t matter if you can trust me, all I need from you is that you escape and don’t come back for me”
Tessa was going to ask as to why he said that but a portal appeared from behind her.
“Tessa-yah!” Jaehyo shouted through the portal.
U-Kwon turned Tessa around to face the portal and grabbed her shoulders. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered. “Don’t come back, but don’t forget about me either”
With that being said, U-Kwon pushed Tessa into the portal. That was the last time Tessa ever saw U-Kwon… for the time being.
Well, this was random.
I basically wrote this because I could not get to sleep for the life of me last night.(And thanks to randomizers, the star was U-Kwon of Block B) I am pretty satisfied with how this little drabble turned out and I might make a full fanfic out of this. Tell me what you think!
