Cheerful, Optimistic, Humorous. Everything about her is like sunshine. JaYeon has a really bright and cute smile, something that makes others want to smile too. Having high-cheek bones, looking like a chipmunk at times, she uses aegyo that works on most adults and friends. The best part of her personality is that she loves to help others. Regardless whether in academic, dance, language etcetera.

JaYeon is also a good listener. She is always there for her friends, whether the sun is shining, or the rain is falling. Her friends trusts her and tells her all their secrets. Her little bad habit is that she would often, accidentally slip out parts of the secrets to someone else. Despite that, her friends still trusts her. 

Sometimes, she is mistaken as a little rude girl. For her love of using sarcasm which she considers as one of her language, people who doesn't get the sarcasm in her words often take her as being rude. At those times, JaYeon would apologise, and explain clearly it was just her being sarcastic.

JaYeon's parents had decided to move to Singapore, where it is really safe when she was just found in her umma's womb. They wanted her to grow up, study in a safe environment; some where without Earthquakes, Tsunamis or Wars happening; Singapore. She studied in a elementary school for rich kids, where she made many friends, fake and real ones. JaYeon experienced ups and downs, dealing with all the betrayers in her group of friends etc. She first got into Hallyu Wave when she was in 5th Grade. Learning many things from the Hallyu Stars, she decided that she would audition in the future.

JaYeon's first step to the stardom was when she was in 7th Grade. The 2nd Season of tVn CUBE Entertainment Audition was taking place in Singapore. Due to exams, JaYeon did not have time to prepare hence, she only finished learning her dance on the day of the audition itself. Because of the last minute finish, she did not pass the audition. Honestly, she was disappointed but was more than determined to become the next Hallyu star.

When JaYeon was in her 8th Grade, her parents decided to move back to Korea, Busan. Still trying to adapt to the environment and culture, JaYeon joined the International School. She was a popular girl as she could speak multiple languages. She could speak basic Japanese as she took it as a third language back in Singapore, during her 7th Grade. During her winter breaks, JaYeon was all ready to audition, this time, to SM Entertainment. As what she had expected after all the hard work put in, she passed the audition, becoming a trainee in the company.

Why him? : He is exactly like JaYeon's ideal type. Sing, Dance, Rap and Acted in "Reply 1997".

Love story : 

They met at a private dance studio rental for kpop artists/trainees. That early morning, around 5am, the 5 private rooms were filled. JaYeon taken one room and was already sweating from all the dance practices. As the company usually don't give her Dance sessions (since she's already expert) she wanted to practice privately somewhere. Hoya, who arrived later, had no more room for him to rent. The owner of the dance studio suggested that he share with JaYeon since JaYeon was using the big studio alone. 

Seeing no harm, Hoya agreed and quitely stepped into the room, hoping not to disturb JaYeon. JaYeon who was on full concentration on her powerful dance moves, was totally oblivious to Hoya's presence. Hoya smiled at JaYeon's professional dance movements, and decided to join in her. As JaYeon was dancing, she sensed Hoya's presence. Instead of stopping her movements, she started enjoying her dance session even more with someone's accompany. (she hates being alone, remember?)

After the song ended, Hoya applaused. They exchanged awkward glances and smiles once in a while. Since then, they would always share a studio. The awkwardness between them started to disappear as the open up to each other, talking more and more. Now, they already knew each other's deepest secrets. That's how they got closer and closer.
