Lunch time was usually packed with students roaming around the cafeteria, wondering what they're gonna eat. Except for today, since it was the last week of school and most of the students are either skipping school or using this free time to play with their peers.

Well as for me, I was lining up to buy my food as I was always hungry. Just as I was about to look up to see the menu displayed, my body tensed. Guess what? My 4 years long crush is standing there, in front of me, with his friends, laughing and chattering away. Worse part is, he's sitting on the metal bars (meant to separate the different queues of the stalls), and there he was, body mostly angled towards me. Suddenly our eyes met and I blushed harder, turning away.

The situation was totally unacceptable! As he looked left, I looked right. As he turned his head to look to the other way, my gaze turned the opposite way. 'Ah!" My mind screamed. Minutes after, he jumped down from the previous position and leaned his back against his friend, his whole body now totally facing me. Slowly he looked up, the same time I was looking at what he is doing. "Well.. this is awkw-" he said almost softly, before both of us looked down and chuckled. My shoulders suddenly felt lighter. He then went to lean against the metal bars, and I followed soon after, relaxing my self against the cold bars.

Minutes passed by, and we were in silence. Not those awkward silence, instead it was those moments where words weren't needed. I enjoyed, being by his side, as the wind caressed our skin. 

"Damn.." one of his friends groaned, snapping us out of our day dreaming. He told us and the rest that the stall was gonna be closed for awhile as they wait for some stuffs and stocks to arrive. Chatterings followed soon after as we waited patiently for the stall to be ready again soon. "Yah, I agree. You must be bold if you want to know whether your crush likes you back or not. At least if he said "no", you won'y go on hoping for nothing right?" Most of us heard the heated conversation from the queu infront of us.

"Like real.. I confessed to him like 5 times, yet no answer.." I mumbled to myself.

Suddenly, my muscles tensesd, as I swallowed the lump in my throat. Something was brushing against my skin, my neck feelling hotter. Turns out he was leaning in towards me, letting his head rest on my shoulder. I was shocked at first, of course. After awhile, a smile crept on my face, as I laid my head on his. We stayed in that position, just enjoying the moment..

But then, I woke up, realising it was just a dream. What felt so real, was too good to be true. I sighed as I got out of bed, proceeding to the bathroom.
